Helping Skills: Facilitating Exploration, Insight, and Action

The media could not be loaded.  I understand I bought a used book, but it said it was in good condition and mentioned nothing about all of the writing inside of the text. It is highlighted/underlined all throughout (video attached) Still useable but very distracting and irritating.

Good for a textbook - very easy to read and comprehend. I like the exploration, insight, action approach. It seems grounded in reality and good practice. The author's love for her work comes through. You won't want to sit down and read this for the joy of it - but, for a textbook, it's not too bad.

I LOVE Clara Hill’s writing style, reading her is like listening to a great and interesting class lecture. Her writing style is so great that it really feels like she is talking to me. She explains helping skills BEAUTIFULLY and is amazing at teaching how to truly integrate different therapeutic approaches.

Thank GOD this book is an easier read, and not as boring as many other textbooks. Not only that, but it is NOT written for High Academia

I bought this book for a class and it is excellent! It is full of great information, it flows well, and it is easy to read through.

I use this as a basic text for training medical students in counseling skills. Solid coverage of the listening skills, and other foundational counseling methods generic to many theoretical approaches.

I absolutely LOVE this diffuser. It's super cute, simple to use, and can hold quite a bit of water. It's good if you're wanting a simple and fairly long lasting diffuser. The light is surprisingly bright as well. I'm very pleased with this purchase! I'm even impressed by the customer service.
