Are they really made of cheap plastic?

We used to use Pick Up Sticks in the tube when we were little. They are wood, so much stronger.

Is this the original version or the smaller version?

This one is about 15" high. They make more challeng versions than this, too. I bought this for my nieces who are 11 and 13. They had never played it before and eventhough they were older, they had a blast!

Is there a trick to putting all of the sticks in? My grandson loves the game but quickly loses interest because it's so hard to get the sticks in!

My 5 year old will insert about 50% of the sticks and then I have to complete the last ones because he gets frustrated and gives up. I too, get a little aggravated as it is definitely a tedious task for such a “quick” game. However, we love playing this game together and end up laughing at each other as we lose our marbles. In the end, it is worth the task.

Kids love this game!

Our granddaughter's (4 & 6) love playing this game. Our little one will play with it all by herself just putting the chips in the rack and then dumping them out! Kerplunk is a simple, timeless game that kids love. But this game should not be used around little kids that stick things in their mouths! Definitely a choking hazard for babies and very young children. Use your head and be safe always!

All time family favorite game!

Our family LOVES this game! It creates lots of excitement. It is really fun to play, even for adults. It is a pain to put the sticks through the holes, but it is good for fine motor skills. The quality doesn’t seem the best, but it is actually really good. Giving 4 stars because of the challenge of putting the sticks in the holes.

Finishing of the coloured sticks not so great...My boy got scratched by the not smooth finishing along the sticks ...Although they were just minor scratches but for a child product....It is badly finished...I would say
