A little not burning properly
Not sure whether I have bought the right wood logs as I bought the kiln dried logs didn't expect the paint to be extremely smelly as the fire rages inside the paint burns off the outside not a very nice smell and the filter at the top is to small and block up as fast as the first burn started creating a sticky fluid in the flue pipe had to take filter out am going replace it with one that slowed the fire to range unlike the one put in just blocked up during first time burnI got it burning properly but it does of bad pain that bee put on a fire sorry for this report but the paint needs burning off first

Great little stove!!
Love love love this wood stove!! It’s -25 outside in Minnesota right now here in January!! We live in a 32 ft camper and needed heat asap and for little money!! This stove is great it has problems yes the door sucks and the paint burns off of it! But as long as your a smart and intelligent person there is NO issues with it!! Some modifications to the door are needed, go to the local hardware store and buy a wood stove gasket and boom problem solved!! Also clean your stove pipe so you get good air flow but honestly it’s a solid wood stove for such a cheap price! Thank you for keeping my 32ft camper at 75ish degrees!!

Best cheap warm stove. Tms
Its cheap but I got a 5 man Canadian army bell tent and was in weather of -47c and it was artic blast weather and I was warm inside my tent.the only thing is you need to put in tapping screws to make the pipe straight because I did it and the pipe is now more straight. I use my tms wood stove every day all year around and in my tent because I watch my cattle investments from coyotes every night all year so its great to cook on heat up tent and it looks good and works great. 5 stars.

Good little stove
Good little stove that puts out some good heat with min wood...but here it is...the end pipe under the cone pipe end...has a screen in it that I'm guessing is suppose to work like a spark arrester...rip it out as I did as if your using soft woods the screen completely fills up with cresote and ugs the end up so smoke cannot escape and your she'd or tent will end up full of smoke...it's a co2 nightmare if you were sleeping when it happens...but other then removi g the screen the stove works well

LIGHT MY FIRE.....
TMS STOVE-2346 Portable Military Camping TentI Hope our Military has better stoves than this....They deserve better anywaysSIZE: best example is it is smaller than a 5 gallon bucket around and just a bit taller than a 5 gallon bucketReceived on time...Early actually by 1 day.The box it came in was undamaged however there was a Dent near the door so it must have been dented prior to packaging other than that it was in good shape..Fire tools racks, tater cook tubes, legs and chimney were all included like the description said and fit inside the stoveHere are my observations:Paint: BAD...as other reviewers have said it burns off, It took me 3 hot fires to burn off the TOXIC paint and a wire wheel to remove the remaining paint.Welds: The welds look really really BAD however I found no holesLegs: Fairly sturdy, Stove seemed to be stable even when I placed 3 gallons of water in a large pot on top of the stove.Heat: Puts off a good amount of heat for it's size however the wood burns up quickly do to no flu. With a pan on the cooking racks the top of the stove turned glowing red and yes you can cook on it or rather in a pan on the stoveDoor: The hinge is loose so the door has more play than I would like, The latch will hold the door from opening but will not keep it closed.Other: Inside grate is welded in place. 2 3/4" Chimney works well After the spark screen was removed because fire would not burn with the screen in place. What I did to make my stove ready to use:1st I burned the TOXIC paint off, It took me 3 HOT fires using seasoned oak filling the stove to the max, The paint smoke was much worse than I expected..It amazes me the manufacturer has not addressed the paint issue that is not only toxic to breath, but bad for the environment as well. It also brings the product ratings down. The stove also had wax??? dripping from the bottom cleanout during the 1st burn, it made a puddle about the size of a small saucer so be aware of where you are going to light it...A wood deck would not be a good choice. My firescreen in the chimney hindered the draw of the stove so it was removedI then used a wire wheel and a drill to remove any paint that remained. Then I wiped it down with alcohol and painted it with 2000 degree paint, 1 can did about 3-4 coatsI had to make a new handle to keep the door closed tight, in my case I used a small metal curtain rod with the bend on the end, it was something I had, was easy to drill and fit in the slot with minimal customization.AFTER allowing the paint time to dry and cure It works very well after you learn what vents you want open and when.Special note: It is easy to have fire blowing from the top of the chimney much like a chimney fire in a regular house wood stove it can be very dangerous and the spark fire screen is highly recommendedI WOULD buy this again, 60 bucks is a good price for this unit with it's flaws and reputationOh ya no one discounted or gave me this product to review.
