Filament Innovations Flame resistant filament will do just as the title says, it will be resistant to staying on fire! Most plastic will burn by itself naturally; however this filament will self-extinguish if there is no other material to supply a flame to it. What does this mean? Let's use a lighter for example.If the lighter would light the filament on fire, and the lighter would go out, the flame on the filament would also go out - regular ABS would remain ignited and continue to burn.
