HELPFUL for my Lichen Planus!!! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
Summer of 2016, my sister and I were both diagnosed with Lichen Planus. Unfamiliar with this problem, we researched the malady and began using Livionex. I have used it for 5 months and have waited to see what my Oral Hygienist had to say regarding my teeth and gums. Both my sister and I have noticed improvement in our gums. Before using Livionex, our gums were quite sore and bled easily. My sister had white lines through her gums. Eating anything like chips would tear the tender tissue. With Livionex, the bleeding has stopped, the lines on her gums have gone, and we can now eat snacks such as chips without tearing the tissue. Having visited my oral hygienist this week, she was quite impressed with the condition of my gums although some redness remains and may always be there. In the course of our discussion, she informed me that she LOVES Livionex and has a very young elementary aged student to whom she had prescribed Livionex. The child whose father is a physician has had much trouble with cavities. Since using Livionex, her teeth are stronger and she has fewer cavities. Her situation is such that she will probably fight this throughout her life; however, Livionex is helping! All this added to our own situations, my sister and I are highly pleased with Livionex. Sadly, it is quite expensive and we have only found it online. Therefore, we have to make sure we keep it on hand as ordering can take about a week. Hopefully, time on the market will eventually lower the price. For those who elect to purchase this item, we have learned it is good to put a few pin holes into the silver covering instead of removing it. If it is removed, the tooth gel can come out too quickly and be a waste. Using a few pin holes prevents this. Also, READ THE DIRECTIONS! This amazing gel will dissipate under water. DO NOT WET your toothbrush after applying the gel!!! Spread it over your teeth and then continue with the brushing process. The cost is well worth the protection.

Amazing Product!
Amazing Product! I had been searching for a better toothpaste and I believe I have found it. Removes tartar/plaque? Check. So much so, stains that only polishing during my regular dental cleanings would remove, have been lifted away within the first couple days use. Made my teeth squeaky clean and feels fantastic ! Keeps away bad breath? Check. In order to get the same effect, I needed to scrape tongue religiously, chew on dental probiotics nightly and swish with coconut oil or mouthwash. Do I still need to floss? Sure, but this product has greatly reduced the amount that accumulates in some troublesome areas I have. Tastes good? Check. I'm not a big fan of mint due to it's tendency to be overwhelming, but this is light enough to be pleasant. Reduces gum bleeding? Check. I had a couple problem areas prior to using this product but no longer an issue. Reduces teeth sensitivity? Check and CHECK! Unexpected result of using this product that I'm thrilled to report! It seemed like NOTHING could entirely remove the sensitivity I was experiencing aside from bi-weekly use of numbing strips that were messy and a hassle (and slightly painful). I am hoping this product continues to work it's magic on my teeth/mouth and does not lose it's effectiveness over time. My hope is that I can reduce my dental cleanings as others have reported with regular use. I have tried everything to keep my dental health in order but it seemed all the home care and products I was using were not really addressing the problem and altogether were quite expensive and time consuming. The price of this dental gel is a small price to pay when considering all the other products I have used to try to achieve the same results (dental picks daily, sonic-care toothbrush, oil pulling, tongue scraper, waterpik, dental probiotics...etc.) I still use these products, but i do not appear to need to be obsessive with all of them anymore-time will tell, however I'm pretty convinced at this point this product is a definitive solution to a majority of my dental woes.

An exhaustive summary of a pretty good product
I think Livionex is a good product. I have used it for over a year and a half and I have the dentist take photos of my teeth each time I go for cleaning, which is every four months. I tend to form a lot of tartar so I felt I was a good candidate. I was a bit disappointed after my first four months of using it. Based on the hype, I thought I would be completely rid of all the tartar. Based on the photos, I was down about 20%. Not bad, but not what was expected, especially for the price of the product. My dentist recommended that based on the results, perhaps I should try an electric toothbrush in addition. I purchased one of the cheap Oral B rotate ones and along with the Livionex, I saw a 40% decrease in tartar. Ok, so maybe it was just the brush that made a difference? I thought that might be the case so I stopped using the Livionex for four months and found that the tartar was down only 10% with the brush alone. I am now back to using Livionex and the electric toothbrush. So, itmdefinitely works and I am impressed with the results. I should add that I also added flossing twice per day instead of once and that helped reduce tartar further. I would say that the Livionex is responsible for 30-40% of my tartar reduction, so I will keep using it. Having said that, I have a few complaints: 1. Inconsistency in the product. In A third of the tubes I purchased. The product appeared watered down and spilled off of the toothbrush into the sink, wasting an EXPENSIVE product. The other two thirds were a thick gel which stayed on the brush. They really need to address this quality control issue. 2. It has no whitening agent. As a matter of fact, my hygienist pointed out that my teeth were NOTABLY yellower after using Livionex for four months. She was wondering if there was something in it that promoted it. Using amwhitening rinse each day seems to have fixed the problem. 3. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have fluoride in your water. There is none in Livionex. 4. Finally, the price. A single tube is three times the price of regular toothpaste and one third the quantity. I will keep using it because I can afford it. If the company wants to stay small and eventually whither on the vine, keep the price the way it is. My opinion is that they have a good product, which with a little tweaking, can be a step ahead of the competition. Go mainstream and sell some volume!

Measurable Improvement In First Six-Weeks of Use
If you are interested in Livionex Dental Gel reviews I will assume you are either dealing with periodontal disease or trying to avoid having all the issues associated with gum disease. I fall into the category of waging all out war against periodontal disease. Over the past five years my dentist has gone from warning me about deteriorating gums to threatening me with lasers and surgeries. Livionex is not the first product I have purchased to deal with my issues. I have tried everything I could research and find available to help resolve my dental problems. I have also been willing to spend considerable time and money trying products from stand alone toothpastes to multi-part "systems". Each visit to the dentist was disheartening, despite my best efforts at dental hygiene and following a plan of intervention. At best I was happy when gum pocket measurements held steady and did not deepen. Eventually my search for an effective product lead me to purchase a tube of Livionex Dental Gel. I used the gel for six weeks before returning to my dentist's office for a hygiene session. I did not expect "great" or "immediate" results based on the short term use of the product. But, like many other reviewers noted, my hygienist worked through my mouth quickly and had almost no opportunity to use her array of deep-mining tools. There simply wasn't any appreciable plaque that had formed hard dental calculus (tartar) on my teeth. My dentist came in to just "take a look" at my mouth (this was not one of my visits when every gum-tooth attachment was going to be measured) and simply said everything looks good, see you in three months. Without mentioning my new brushing regimen, I asked the dentist to measure the gum pockets on two of my most problematic teeth. My dentist didn't consult my chart and began measuring one of my deep molar pockets and an incisor pocket. The molar measured 5-6mm (it was on my chart as 7-8mm) and the incisor measured 4-5mm (previously charted at 5-6mm). The chart numbers for these two teeth had remained consistent for over two years with no sign of improvement or further deterioration. My dentist also noted that there was no bleeding when she deeply probed these pockets. That alone was a significant improvement. I admit this was only a small step in the right direction and my dentist wasn't overly excited about what she reluctantly agreed was "improvement"; but, I was elated. Every visit to my dentist over the past five years has felt like being sent to the principal's office for a tongue-lashing. No matter what I did at home; it was deemed a failure in the dental chair. So after ONLY six weeks of consistent use and NO other change in my approach to my hygiene routine Livionex has given me some hope for the future of my teeth. I do use the gel twice a day, morning and night. I also use a dental brush or pick prior to brushing in the morning and I floss prior to brushing in the evening. I use an Oral-B electric toothbrush with a very soft (sensitive) brush head and a small bead of Livionex about the size of a pea at each brushing. I don't wet the brush or the gel before I start. I find that the cleaning I do between all of my teeth and subsequent rinsing leave my teeth wet enough to lubricate the brushing. My first tube of Livionex lasted just over six weeks on this routine. I do agree with many customers that $20 for a small quantity of "toothpaste" seems excessive. But, if you are facing gum surgeries, root planing, laser treatments, etc. you are definitely going to spend much more money and potentially face the ultimate of tooth loss despite these efforts. For me Livionex Dental Gel is the first product that makes me feel like I can do something to avoid all of these extreme steps in maintaining healthy gums. I expect to see even more improvement after sticking with this routine in the months and years to come.

Drip drip drip
I think it is probably doing a good job, but my problem is keeping it on the tooth brush and getting it onto my teeth. It's a very, very, very thin jell like product that almost melts off the brush the minute I put it on. I've placed it on my tooth brush, and while raising the brush to my teeth, have watched the paste literally "run" off the brush and land in my sink. If it was thicker, and came in a larger tube, I would probably continue buying it. Unfortunately, despite it's quality, it's way to expensive for me, in that I feel like 1/4 of the product falls off my tooth brush and gets washed down the drain.

Livionex Works! (I went to the dentist today...)
I bought my first tube of Livionex in June of this year. I have been using Livionex whenever I brush which is typically after every meal and after most snacks. I have always taken very good care of my teeth. I always floss at least twice a day. Yet, despite all my efforts, when I would go to the dentist every six months for my cleaning, there would still be some tarter buildup on my lower front teeth. I started using Livionex because the idea that plaque should be destroyed rather than just brushed off my teeth made sense to me. If it worked.... And today, I am very happy to report, that at least for me, I have verifiable evidence that Livionex has significantly reduced tartar building up on my teeth after just two months of use. I waited until today to write this review because, this morning, I had a dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I wanted to see if the hygienist detected any difference in the tartar level on my teeth. This first thing I noticed today was that the hygienist hardly used the ultrasonic cleaner at all, and she manually scraped very little tartar off my teeth. I did not say anything about using Livionex until the hygienist had finished cleaning my teeth. I asked how I had done in terms of keeping my teeth clean in the six months since my last cleaning. The hygienist said that there was very little to clean on my teeth and no bleeding on my gums at all. She said I had done a great job keeping my teeth clean. I then told her about Livionex. The hygienist had never heard of the product but she said it definitely is making a big difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. She showed me the notes on my chart from my previous visits spanning many years. The notes clearly showed that I always have tartar buildup in certain areas. Today, all those areas were almost tartar free. And the amazing thing is that I have only been using Livionex for about two of the six months since my last cleaning. (I think that if I had been using Livionex for the entire six months, I might not have had any tartar at all.) I am using about a tube of Livionex a month, but that is because I brush often throughout the day. Also, I probably use more than I really need because I like the taste of it. I know that plaque does not form into tartar right away so it makes sense that Livionex says that their toothpaste only needs to be used twice a day to work. I could use another kind of toothpaste some of the time during that day as long as I used Livionex in the morning and night. However, I really have grown to like the way Livionex feels when I am brushing with it. I also like the way that it does not create foam in my mouth and that my mouth feels really clean after I brush. I wanted to write this review because when I researched Livionex and over the weeks that I have been using it, I have not found many reviews where someone explained that they definitely saw a hygienist-verified positive difference from using Livionex. (A couple reviews like that exist but not many.) This product really works. Interestingly, my dentist had never heard of Livionex. He said none of his other patients have every mentioned it. I apologize that this review might not be perfectly written in terms of grammar and syntax. However, the important thing is that anyone thinking of buying Livionex should know that, at least based on my experience, this product does everything the company says it does. Hopefully, over time, the price will drop so that more people can afford to buy it. For low income people who have difficulty affording dental care or for people that have trouble traveling to a dentist because of mobility issues, Livionex would make a tremendous positive difference in their lives. good for gums, iffy for gut flora. candida sufferers beware
Yes, this product works to kill bacteria in your mouth, and that might improve your dental health, but playing around with this high concentration of food preservative (the active ingredient) is a bad plan for gut flora. I tried this toothpaste for a couple weeks on 2 separate occasions and it did what it said it would do for my mouth. I have a ton of dental work and it really did help my gums do better. Having a history with candida issues though, I am very familiar with flora imbalance symptoms. I thought I could get by with this toothpaste if I made sure to rinse really well so it wouldn't cause flora issues but, unfortunately, this was not the case. Food preservatives indiscriminately kill the good along with the bad, and you need those good ones to protect you from so many things. And this is where I had problems - both times, I ended up with secondary infections that are normally prevented by adequate levels of good gut flora. Learned my lesson. So even if this does work well, and even if you do have normal gut flora when you begin, I suspect that Livionex could potentially alter that balance. For anyone with any history of candida or flora imbalance though, I would not recommend this.

This really helped bleeding and receding gums
This toothpaste is crazy good. I bought it based on the reviews I read. Despite a very good dental care regime, my gums bleed, and are receding. Five of my teeth cracked(I think from chewing ice as a child) and I have quite a few cavities. I don't really understand since I have a great diet, exercise and brush my teeth frequently. Nonetheless, I notice quite a lot of hard plaque on my teeth. My teeth normally feel great after I have gone to the dentist for a cleaning but within a few weeks I have hard plaque. So, I thought I would try this toothpaste. Also, I must add, I don't usually rate products. I just felt that if this product can help others the way it did me, I wanted to put my feedback in. So, I used the toothpaste 2x a day for two weeks at which time, I was out with my family for dinner and I felt something hard in my mouth. I thought that I had chipped another tooth. I was so upset. I felt something rough on the inside part of my tooth. When I got home, obviously I went to the mirror to see what was going on and to my surprise, I saw that it was simply hard plaque coming off in chunks. I was shocked. And then I started thinking and realized that I haven't had any bleeding gums for at least a week. That means the toothpaste worked very well and very fast on my teeth to keep them clean. This is toothpaste is ridiculously expensive but worth it if it helps my receding gums, bleeding gums and keeps my teeth clean. Now my teeth feel like right after I've gone to the dentist for a cleaning. The way I use it is I brush first with regular toothpaste to get my mouth clean, then I use just a little Livionex, leave it on my teeth for between a minute to 5 minutes and then rinse. This honestly has helped.

At last! A mild toothpaste!
I haven't been using Livionex very long but I love it. Although I am not keen on mint flavour, Livionex has a very mild taste, you only use a pea sized amount as well which helps offset the high cost. Most of all, my teeth feel so clean after I have brushed with Livionex. I am looking forward to my dental check up (who'd have thought!) so she can see the difference! Just a pea size amount twice a day and it is supposed to last six weeks! That seems to be true. I have been using the first tube for 5 weeks now and there is still plenty left. The only thing I found annoying was that the gel comes out of the tube too fast. I looked at the Livionex website and it was suggested that, in order to overcome this, unscrew the lid, place a small piece of plastic from, for instance, a freezer bag, over the opening, replace the lid and then pierce a small hole in the plastic. This works very well so that it is easy to control the amount of Livionex on your toothbrush. I just wish it wasn't so expensive! I still gave it 5 stars though!
