When you compare this book to another book on tying scarves, this one falls short. The directions are okay, but the other book is better. My advice? Search for other books with better directions.3 stars

I'm basing the ratings on the great neck scarf ideas. I wanted to be fair, but I bought the book based on the negative review that the book had too many head scarf ideas. I was very dissapointed that this was not the case. Was this based on another book? The case is actually reversed. There are very few head scarf ideas. I don't wear scarves around my neck, but do wear head scarves. It makes me wonder if the reviews are really accurate. I do have to admit that I generally scan the reviews and look for negative ones because they tell me more in some cases about whether or not the book is something I want to read. Not in this case 🙃

Out of fifty, there's only a dozen I would use. What's here is basic and helpful, however she also "padded" the contents by putting in more than ten designs that no one would really use (put a triangle bandana on your dog? I could have done that one without having it in a book.). She's also included belts and purses, none of which I would ever use. I would have preferred just some more actual scarf-around-the-neck scarf patterns.

I bought this after seeing some scarf ties in a video on Facebook. This book has some of the styles shown in the video, but the majority of these are very simple, and it is missing some of the more creative looks. However, there are several in the book that are new to me that I'm anxious to try out. The illustrations could have been better, or photography used. Either would have improved the look of the book. It's more like a 3.5, but it should be bumped up instead of down.

Despite being the owner of over 30 scarves of various sizes, I only wore them one of two different ways. This book changed that! The descriptions of the step by step instructions on how to make the various knots and folds are easy to follow. The graphics are a great help as well. I am so glad to have fallen over this book and would highly recommend this purchase for those who like to wear scarves. 50 Ways to Wear a Scarf

I own about 40 scarves and needed new and flattering ways to tie them. This book does the trick

. . . to go with a scarf. It has nice hard binding & good pictures. Price was ok, could've been better. Worked for my purpose. Can't speak to the content exactly so 4 stars.

I had bought this for myself some time ago--first as an ebook, but then decided I wanted a physical copy so I could more easily refer to the styles. I recently bought it again as a gift. It has lovely illustrations and easy instructions. I only wish it had an illustrated index so you could flip quickly to a specific style depending on scarf length & shape, but that feels like a small complaint. I've tried many of the styles and received lots of compliments since purchasing the book.

Useful book. The styles are all very wearable. Some are the sort that one remembered, but only once reminded of them. The sizes of shawls used were quite ‘normal’, and easily obtainable. Recommended.

I was hoping for some really innovative ways to wear a scarf but I knew the majority of the ways described.

Would say about half the ideas in this book, are the obvious ones, such fewer new ideas and styles than I'd hoped for.

Brilliant little book . I Bought to give to my sister but decided to buy one for myself. It is easy to read and instructions are straight forward. A must if you love your scarves.

Great book that will make a fabulous present.
