DORCOPace 7 - World's First and Only Seven Blade Razor- 12 Cartridges (No Handle)

I really like the way that they shaved.

I originally bought a razor from a grocery store and loved it, but the refills became impossible to find. So when I found the Dorco Pace 7 with 12 cartridges, I was stoked since I was down to my last refill. The cartridges fit my old razor perfectly, and the only difference was the name on the box.What really sets these blades apart is how easily they clear the gaps while shaving. With other brands, you have to constantly tap and rinse to get them clean, but these perform much better. They're totally worth the money, and I will definitely be buying them again!

I have very sensitive skin. When I shave I always get red bumps. I also usually get a few nicks. I have tried all kinds of razors, creams and tricks over the years. I came across these razors and decided to give them a try. There are not words to express how amazing these razors are. Not one nick or cut and no red bumps! I can’t believe that after all of these years, it was as simple as a good razor. These Pace 7 have a different angle on the blades. They are absolutely incredible.

Quite a long time back, I decided that I had enough of dealing with the COMPLETE GILETTE SCAM! I was indeed able to get a decent shave with them, and, I faithfully did an upgrade every time they did something 'new.' I finally went out to get my next package of blades, and the light bulb moment hit me. I am NOT PAYING THIS for a razor that gives me no more than 5-7 shaves before it is miserably dull. I went on a whole journey on what to use and where to go in my pursuit. I fast forward to the present. Over the past year or better, I have been using the 6-bladed Dorco. Long story a bit shorter, it is an excellent system. I was getting 10 and more shaves on a cartridge and then I saw the 7. I wanted to try that as well. It does fit the same handle as the six and it does not appear to be an improved handle so I guess I sort of wasted the money on the handle again, as well. The 7 seems to be more stream-lined, in a sense. I actually think it is a bit more maneuverable. One thing that is good to remember. Make sure to run a couple of inches or so of water so that when you are about halfway through your shave, you can very vigorously 'shake' your razor in the water, to effectively loosen the debris. If you do that, you should be able to keep your blade clean. One thing I do miss, from the 6, is that there is no longer a trimmer on the back-side of the blade. I really like that feature in the 6. It makes getting at the place just beneath your nose so much easier. Anyway, while I do love the 7, it DOES NOT HAVE THAT. I do believe that this 7 is a bit more, 'maneuverable,' so perhaps that is one reason they decided not to include it, and I am sure it would have necessitated a bit more money, so I am sure that factored in, as well. I absolutely recommend this razor system, and I am committed to this 7 blade upgrade!. I simply LOVE comparing the, 'confiscatory cost,' of the Gillette, with the cost of this. I feel that the shave is ABSOLUTELY as GOOD, as any I have ever gotten with a Gillette, and, the blades themselves definitely have given me twice as many shaves. That was true for the 6, now, I confess that I have only now had one shave with the 7, so in candor, I cannot say with certainty that it will be as 'long-lasting,' and give me as many shaves as the 6 I had been using, but I assume that it likely should. After one shave, (with the 7 blade) I HAVE ALREADY REORDERED, to get the larger package and blade configuration, the one without the handle. THAT is how much I like it. I did not receive any free blades, or anything for this review, although if they are reading this, they can feel free to send me another 20 or so.
