Seven absolutely happy, whimsical birds perch on a branches just waiting for you to smile. Remember the birds in Cinderella that tied bows and stuff? Well, I think they are related. These birds come ready to hang from the attached copper rod. I cut and drill the glass and then start to grind and shape the birds, perch them on the branches, and add generous sprinkling of custom color blended frit (ground glass). Then the pieces are fired and properly annealed in my digitally controlled kilns. Once they cool, I attach them to a copper rod with copper wire. ♥ See that bird in the middle that is looking the opposite way? Yeah, well, that's me. Wait! You say it is you, too?!
