Update 3-31-17: I knocked this off a t.v. tray onto carpet. It landed on the lid. It did not break. I have to say, so far, this is the sturdiest one of these I have purchased. As you can tell from my earlier reviews, I have dropped this several times and knocked it over several times, in various locations, on various surfaces, and so far it's still going strong. Since the silicone sleeve that's on it is the same one that was on another I had that shattered, I think the glass in this one must be a little sturdier than the others I have purchased. Do yourself a favor and make sure your family knows not to put the lid in the dishwasher, the bamboo will crack. Fortunately, I had another lid that fit's, so no problem. Still going strong and I really don't notice the few ounces less that it holds compared to the others I had that were larger capacity. Update 1-4-17: I have a silicone sleeve on this bottle (like the ones you can buy all over Amazon with the big circle cut-outs). This is the same sleeve I have used on two other bottles that broke in the past few months. I dropped this bottle on carpet this morning. It landed on the lid. A similar drop of another bottle resulted in the bamboo breaking off in a chunk and the interior glass shattered. I believe the difference in why this bottle did not break and the other did may be that the interior of this lid is coated in silicone (so the rim rests on a cushion of silicone when the lid is on). I dropped this bottle from approximately the same height and in almost the exact location, as the bottle that did break. I also knocked this bottle over, twice, on a hard surface (wooden counter table top and a linoleum counter) and it's still intact (again, while the bottle was "wearing" a silicone sleeve). Another bottle I had, broke, in a similar fall, with the same silicone sleeve on. Today when it happened, I doubted that it wasn't cracked on the inside, so when I felt inside the bottle to make sure that a streak of water wasn't a crack, I noticed that the rim and interior glass of this bottle feels slightly thicker and sturdier than similar bottles I have owned, based on the thickness of the interior ridge that holds the steeping basket in place. The interior glass is what has shattered on every bottle I have owned prior to this one. It would still break if it fell any great distance. It is glass, after all. But so far, this one has held up as sturdier than any of the other glass bottles I have owned, all which were purchased on Amazon and similar in design to this one. Tipped over twice and a drop onto the lid and it's still with me. Three times since I have had this bottle, I have been sure that I must have broken yet another one, and I have been pleasantly surprised every time. So far so good! Solid 5 stars. Previous review: The inside of the lid is lined with brown silicone. And that is what sold me. The stainless steel basket is the kind you can screw the lid on to keep your loose leaf tea from floating in your water, with a handle that make it removable so you don't over-steep green and white teas. It didn't break when it tipped onto its side wearing the silicone sleeve, that I previously had on another brand, that did break from tipping over, so that's a good sign. The printed design is between the glass so you don't have to worry about it rubbing off. The wood burned design on the lid is a little uneven (darker in some places and much lighter in others) but I don't really care too much about that. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't hold as much as I would like. It holds slightly more than 14 oz. to the rim, with no basket in place. Realistically, you can probably expect it to hold a little more than 12 oz, with the tea basket in. If I was looking for this size, this would have been perfect. I needed a quick replacement so I compromised on the quantity it held in order to get a lid without plastic that would touch my drink. This may be the perfect size for you though. If you are worried about the "stamp" on the lid looking perfect, then maybe take off a star for that. This is a pretty good bottle. It's comparable to most of the others. Better quality than some, for sure. It also comes with a neoprene sleeve. That material makes my teeth hurt to touch it so no good for me, but definitely a bonus for most. The sleeve I received was black, with a white symbol (same as the bottle and the lid) printed on it. There is a carrying loop on the sleeve as well. Kudos to the seller for not printing the seller name or brand on the sleeve or bottle like some of them do.

We love this tumbler. First off, it is stylish. I can bring it anywhere and it just looks good. The sleeve with the bamboo cap is awesome. I love how versatile it is. I have made fresh coffee on the go with it, as well as tea. The design is super innovative. The mesh-like filter works so well, and isn't like anything I've seen out there. It can do coffee grounds well, and the sleeve keeps it hot. If you're looking for a sleek tumbler on the go, with great functionality (for super cheap), this is the one you want to get!

Very disappointed with this product. When I opened the package the wooden lid was cracked. I loved the look of the bottle and was excited to use it so I didn't send it back. However, I made hot tea and within an hour my tea was completely cold. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for something to keep their drinks warm.

I have all kinds of water bottles of all sorts of different functions (Nalgene, S'well, and Hydroflask to name a few). But lately I've been into loose leaf Teavana tea and none of these bottles can hold the tea leaves without them getting into your mouth when you're trying to drink it. This tumbler has been perfect for the tea! It's super easy to use and dispenses the flavor perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised with how air tight it is. I had it in a reusable bag with my lunch and was a bit concerned it might leak. But it was on its side and no liquids came out. Having it in the sleeve also gave me more reassurance that I don't have to be ultra careful with it. The first day I took it to work, people kept commenting on its sleek design and kept wanting to hold it. I found myself explaining all the benefits of the bottle to anyone who took interest. I totally recommend this product!

I am generally very pleased with this item. It enables me/encourages me to have some tea with me all of the time so I drink more tea. It's convenient to have it all in one vessel when I leave the house or am at work and the handle makes it easy to remove the unit with the bag when it's ready so it doesn't get bitter sitting in there. Having glass feels really good vs metal and the cap is nice too. The double wall keeps it hot for a good long time and enables one to hold it still. Some have complained that it gets cold too fast; hasn't been a problem for me; happy with how long it keeps hot. I love the neoprene carrying case. Not only does it protect the glass from accidentally shattering, it helps keep the contents hotter longer and the carrying handle is brilliant, makes having it with me, carrying it around, much easier. The one complaint that I have, reason for not 5 stars, is the metal strainer insert. It's very cheaply made and, at first, it didn't fit the rim and would fall into the body of the glass. I adjusted the little, very flimsy, metal cutouts to protrude a bit more so now it doesn't fall into the glass but remains on top close to the cap (which is how I assume it's supposed to operate but not entirely sure). Anyway, it's flimsy as in will easily dent and one I got earlier was so badly threaded that the two pieces of the strainer didn't fit together. So, this metal part is just cheap junk and may or may not work properly, beware!

I've decided to pick up this tumbler for my husband. He loves infusing fruits and teas together. Once it arrived, we noticed the bamboo designed cap that was really cool. It's easy to clean and works really well. Accidents do happen so we tried turning it upside down and nothing leaked. Just it case if it spilled, we don't have to worry about a mess. It came with a free black sleeve as well, which is pretty useful. Have been using it for the last few days, working very well!! Awesome buy!!!

I am absolutely loving this bottle! I was concerned that since it was double-walled glass that it would be too heavy when filled, but it isn't. It's perfect! The top seals securely. I store the bottle on its side and have never had a leak. The infuser nests snuggly down into the bottle so I can still drink comfortably with it in place. The designs are lovely without being gawdy. The sleeve is well made, fits nicely, and looks good. I probably will order another one so I can have one steeping while I drink from the other. It's great!

It doesn't keep my tea warm at all. No insulation whatsoever. With this price point, you are better off going with a real mug.
