This test kit comes with a dropper from which the user is to place a drop of pool water onto each pad on the test stick. Even dropping one drop of water can cause the coloration of one pad to wash into the adjacent pad. I am finding that it is taking me more than one test stick per trial to hopefully come up with a good interpretation of the status of the pool water. The HTH test sticks are far superior but don't offer as many in one package as this product does.

My wife ordered these test strips for our pool and we are pleased with how these are working. Only criticism is when I opened them there is no reference to using these as a swimming pool test strip. Gave the appearance it was for testing drinking water, has a picture of a faucet on the instructions. I have used similar strips in the past so I was aware of how they work, someone who has not used strips such as these may hesitate at first since there is not a reference to pools, you just need to know what your looking at and how to read it.

product works as described and is cheaper than clorox brand. directions on outside of box are slightly different than what's on the instructions on the inside which caused a little confusion. also, i'm not sure what the glass vial is for as the instructions say to put the stick right into the pool

I like the product because it's pretty straightforward and has everything you would want to test available to you. Only complaint is just that it can be hard to read the test strips could just be poor eye sight though. Overall a good value for an all inclusive test kit.

Good product for the price. Easy to use, but a bit hard to read if you don't have perfect eye sight!! Compared to the higher priced ones we have from the pool store I would definitely recommend.

Great value water quality testing kit. We’re using it with our small above ground pool, and there are enough strips to use every day this summer. The only thing is that the total chlorine reading isn’t so useful at lower values. It only turns noticeably darker higher than 25 mg/l, and that’s much higher than ideal. Still, the free chlorine value is most important and it’s easy to read.

I would definitely purchase again. It is very easy to read. Recommend purchasing

Pretty simple to use. Fill up vial, dip the strip, and read results. No bleeding of strips and the results are easy to read and compared to the colors on the bottle. No complaints as it gets you in the ball park the key pool measurements.
