Can this be used for both recording and online streaming? Are audio interfaces needed?

Can you record directly to a thumb drive without a computer

Yes you can, it's in the menu for the bluetooth display. I tried it, and it works fine, it makes it's own folder on the flash drive, and it records it to an .mp3, 128 kb, with it's own naming convention.

how do you record with this mixer

I realize this is a 2 yr old question, but its still not completely answered. The on-board MP3 player ALSO records once a thumb drive is connected to the USB port. Use the Return/Play buttons to reach the main menu, where you'll see a record option. Once selected, it will be ready to record. Press the PLAY button to begin recording whatever is being ran through the console. (No computer required basically!)

can you connect speaker to it?

Hi, the mixer has stereo jacks to connect any output device (headphones, speakers, etc), just make sure to match your speakers' impedance and wattage to protect them.
