It seems this is made of very light fabric and snake can bite through! If a snake bites, would that bite will not reach my leg?

I don’t think a snake bite will go through. That said, a snake has not tried to bite through. Fabric is light but tight. Very comfortable.

Will they stop leeches?

Haven't had experience with leeches but I would think that they would work if you had them adjusted tight enough.
