They are meant to slide over your wrist. Please measure the widest part of your hand where the bangle has to slide over your knuckles. Here are some standard measurements: SMALL: 2 1/4 inch diameter, 7.5 inch Circumference (Petite); MEDIUM: 2 1/2 inch diameter, 8 inch Circumference (AVERAGE); LARGE: 2 3/4 inch diameter, 8.5 inch circumference (Plus Sized); X LARGE: 3 inch diameter, 9 inch circumference . For these bangles, most gals can wear a MEDIUM size. If you are petite, choose the SMALL size. If you are tall, or have a larger than average frame, choose a LARGE, or a XLARGE size.
