The C plug is smooth to insert when compared to the micro. Cable is a little heavy on the connection, but that's actually because it's a good cable.

They work
I don't like that our newly purchased devices have a whole new USB end. Now, with the Apple devices and old Kindles, we have THREE types of cords. But no stopping progress.I bought my mother a Kindle that came with this new USB style, so ordered these for extra. You know how cords always seem to get misplaced, lost or just fail.So far, so good. Work great and seem to be durable.
