will this shirt shrink when washed?

I machine washed and dried mine and it shrunk a full size. But I love this shirt. Good thing the first one fit my gf ok.

What does it mean smooth sleeves for the inside. Is it like a silk. Or is it warm also

It's like a nylon/rayon material. Haven't tested it for warmth inside sleeves. For the price shirt should be plenty warm. I like my Filsons much better for fit and looks.
