Great value pods for the old style nespresso machine, they have become a go to for my dad for his early morning coffees.

Having tried just about every variety of Nespresso pod out there (not being willing to pay the extortionate prices of Nespresso branded pods) these are by far the best in terms of taste, texture, quality and price. As I tend to make long (Lungo) coffees over espresso's these pods are ideal, and the taste is smooth enough to appeal to a wide range of pallets, but also strong enough to give you the much needed caffeine kick.One of the biggest advantages of this brand of pod is that it's made of the same style aluminum metal casing as the original Nespresso pods, and so they work perfectly every time, with a thick, steady stream of coffee being produced without fail. Whilst other brands use a variety of materials and designs (mostly plastic) with varying degrees of success, this is the only brand other than the original pods, which has never once failed me. The only caveat is that the thin aluminum casing is quite delicate (unlike plastic) and so if dropped or roughly handled it is possible to squash these pods if you're not careful.Lastly the price is outstanding - when buying this 100 pod multipack the per pod price is 20p each - which is as cheap as just about any other pod on the market.So, all in all, I can't fault these pods for taste, reliability or price.

I use to buy Costa lungo pods which tasted nice but I always thought they were a bit weak .The Lor ones taste nice, are stronger and cheaper…..win/win
