Buyer beware. . . this slow cooker is 110V being sold in a 220V country. The seller will tell you just to use an adapter or a converter - which may be fine but should be noted prior to purchase. Crock Pot is a great brand, but save yourself the hassle and buy a 220V slow cooker!

The first time we used this product we followed the receipe and put the cooker on low - the recipe was to take 4-5 hours. We went out and came back after 2 hours to find the kitchen full of smoke, the food incinerated and the plastic handles completely melted onto the work top. We are just luckily we came back when we did or we would have likely faced a fire. This product was a death trap and we are just so lucky we came back when we did. Horrendous 😡😡😡😱😱
