The syrums themselves are fragrance free and absorb completely into the skin leaving smooth, fresh, clean skin not oily or sticky.After using the product for about 6 months, I’ve noticed that my skin is smoother, my pores are tighter, the tone is more even and the reoccurring rash around my mouth (product allergy?) has vanished. The fine lines I was beginning to see around my eyes are gone. I’ve also found that these products speed up the recovery time and damage from sunburn.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a product that contains ingredients proven by science to actually work and don’t want to spend department store prices.

I have used this vitamin-c serum PLENTY of times before and my skin has never had issues and it definitely helped brighten my skin. So, no issues at all with that product. The retinol....I broke out the day after one use. I read retinol can help with acne and scars along with aging so I wanted to give it a try. So when I broke out I was really confused. I thought maybe it was my skin purging so I gave it three more days and my acne got worse and worse. Then I looked at the ingredients and I saw witch hazel.. I know some swear by it by my skin HATES it I break out like crazy with it. So I stopped using it and within 2 days my acne went down and I was fine. So, if you like witch hazel go for it, but if you know your skin then try at your own risk.

I have been using a different brand of C serum but decided to check out this set due to low sales price. When I received the product, I was confused by what I was looking at. The retinol serum was more like thick cream. (see attached photo). The C serum was watery. I emailed Art Naturals directly and confirmed that the retinol serum should not look that this. I was promised for a replacement. Instead of sending me the retinol serum. I was sent another bottle of C serum!?! While I appreciate the customer service, I am confused again by the replacement. I will not be using the original set since I now question the freshness of the C serum as well. I will however give the replacement C-serum a try.Now, about the C serum, it's a bit water and not serum like, in my view. However, it's possible to squeeze a couple drops onto your finger tip without it running off. I just have a few drops in my left palm and apply with my right index finger. Now, the positive things about watery serum is that it's not as sticky as the thicker serum I had and dries fast.I am not sure if I will buy this brand. I will have to re-evaluate in a month or so after I used the product for a period of time. I definitely would not buy this set due to the retinol serum issue I had.

I was looking for a cheaper vitamin C serum than I usually get from Sephora. I saw that this one was also 20% vitamin C and packaged with a retinol serum. I have used both types but have never been able to afford to have them both at the same time. I'm almost 41 and know I should use this combination, but I'm raising hungry boys and have to learn to spend less on myself. These work great and do just what the brands I have purchased from Sephora do at a fraction of the price. My skin is improving using the vitamin C serum in the morning, and the retinol serum at night. My skin tone is clearer and my skin is softer and I've only been using them for a week. I like the packaging. I know with a dropper style packaging none of the serum will go to waste. With these, the total cost of my entire skincare regimen is now around $50 which is less than the cost of a vitamin C serum I used to purchase. I'm paying off credit card debt, feeding my boys, and looking younger. Win, win, win! I have another Art Naturals product coming today and a few more I'm thinking about buying.
