Item received with a strong, weird chemical smell. Also one of the prongs on the brush was cut off.

We just received our Ullabelle brushes and I’m very impressed with them. They are made of high quality, solid wood that is pleasant to touch. The goat bristle brush is very soft. Our baby loves getting brushed with it!It’s such a better alternative to a plastic set (and no static!)I already had the silicone anti-cradle cap brush and it really really works. We use it during every hair wash and never had to worry about cradle cap. For bad cases, though, it helps to massage some oil with the silicone brush right before washing your baby’s hair.Update: I’ve used the goat bristle brush right after a bath and I’ve never seen his hair so shiny! This little gem for baby haircare is something I wish I had earlier! With everything you need from birth and on for your baby's hair, it's cute, the wood is amazing, and the box is perfect for gifting. We now have a baby who is on the move and hates sitting still to have her hair brushed, and the wide-toothed comb and brush do a great job of taming her locks, even when I only manage to get one or two brush strokes through her hair! This would also make an adorable gift!

Likes: Packaging, all items look sturdy, reasonable price for the bundle, and customer service. I was immediately sent a Replacement Brush Set as my First set had defective brush bristles. The Replacement arrived quickly as it was going to be a gift to take to a planned baby shower event. I had both sets in my possession. The “Replacement” and the “initial set”. So one was ready to gift in time and the other was started for Return back to sender with my paid return packing slip/postage. With that said, the Replacement set was also defective and useless and was Returned. (Bought a new brush set from other seller)Dislikes: The bristles themselves are soft but the fall out is terrible and defective. They are not glued down securely to the wooden brush. They are woven through and create/see the “V” shape formed of the bristles woven through, which is the problem. Gently Testing brushing on my hand and terrible fall out of bristles and not safe for any baby/infant. General Stroking Pressure Testing and the same fall out of bristles. This product needs to be a Recall.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter to use on her daughter. Let me just say I was THRILLED to finally have a grandbaby that was born with a head full of hair! She wasn’t prepared for that as the first 2 were completely bald! So to Amazon I went. I purchased this set because it came ready to gift, had 2 different brushes, a comb and a soft silicone scalp scrubber. I love that the brushes and comb are made of wood, so no static or those shocks! Other reviews mentioned bristles falling out. So I immediately ran an adhesive lint roller over it several times. At first, there was shedding but by the 4th sheet, I only picked up one. So I definitely recommend doing this before use. The silicone scalp scrubby is perfect for getting dry skin/cradle cap. Only use it with shampoo (mild for baby) and gently rub areas of concern. After your little one grows out of the cradle cap stage, this is perfect to use on your makeup brushes! I would definitely recommend this set. It’s adorable and beautifully packaged for gift giving.
