Q: How are these in the waterline with the black

Hello Val-- I didn't buy the black eyeliner; I bought the purple and the green. I was trying to find an eyeliner comparable to Lancome's Le Stylo eyeliner pencil (which is excellent). And this is close, but not what I was looking for in terms of staying power. It also does not work on the waterline.

Q: Has anyone used this for a brow pencil? I’m growing out my salt and pepper and wondering if the charcoal would smudge too much for brows. Thanks!

This is definitely not what you would want to use on your eyebrows. I have grey hair and went on the great grey eyebrow pencil hunt many times. The products I have that I like (meaning they are actually grey, not taupe or charcoal) are: NYX eyebrow pencil (charcoal/anthracite), Eye Embrace (Cool Helen), Tony Moly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil (24M), and DNM Drawing Eyebrow (no color name on item, but it some shade of grey). I got all of these on Amazon.
