London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer, Ultra-Lightweight, Controls Shine, Doesn’t Feel Greasy, 1oz

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been experimenting with different primers and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer is my new go-to primer. Initially the thickness and texture is a little off-putting. First, I dab this over my trouble spots such as, cheek rosacea and larger pore areas and also around my crows feet, and then to the rest of my face. When I smooth it out over my face , the texture becomes a little more silky to apply. After it dry's, I go ahead and apply my foundation with a brush. The foundation goes on much smoother. I thought I was imagining this, but after quite a few hours of wearing it, my skin feels like it is being "tightened", especially in the 'crows feet' area near my eyes. This sensation is very similar to using a "5-minite wrinkle eraser" product. If I use the primer alone, I get the same sensation, so, it's not from my foundation, etc. Again, this seems to happen after about 6 hours after application. I like the way it feels like it is tightening up the wrinkles. Since I only use a small amount, it's a good value for the price. I am very happy with primer and intend to continue to use it.

This primer worked well for me. I put it in my tee zone which can get a bit oily some times. It keeps it matte and makes my pores less visible. The price is good too which is very important for me. I used it both in summer and winter!

IM AT WORK AND I PULLED OUT MY PHONE TO MAKE A REVIEW IVE USED THE SPRAY AND THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY GOOD! AS IN BETTER TGAN MY "URBAN DECAY ULTRA MATTE" SPRAY THAT I PAID 49 BUCKS FOR!, THEN I DECIDED TO GET TGIS PRIMER CREAM AND BABY!!!??? THIS IS WORKING LUKE A CHARM I SEEM TO HAVE OILY SKIN MAKEYP GETS SHINY AFTER A FRW HOURS......NOT THIS!!! NOT THIS!!!! I AM MATTED OUT SO MUCH SO THAT I WILL USE A HYDRATING FINISHING SPRAY TO ADD A LITTLE MOISTURE TO MY FACE!! I DONT LOOK DEAD BUT MORE MATTE THAT I WOULD WANT TO LOOK IF THAT MAKES SENSE ...BASICALLY YOU CAN USE A DEWY FOUNDATION AFTER YOU USE TGE MATTE PRUMER FOR BALANCE.....IF THATS MAKES SENSE OR USE A HYDRATING SETTING OR FINISHING SPRAY!!! IM SO SURPRISED FOR 6 BUCKS!!!!

This stuff really works well! No shiney face all night! Is not thick or cakey. I don't wear a lot of make up, so I put this on, either alone or with a little powder and that's it. It is really awesome! Best primer I've tried! Lasts all night! Can't feel it, doesn't look like I'm wearing anything, but tones down any red and prevents shine! Love it!

I have over-oily skin and at my wits end trying every conceivable foundation and primer to to keep my oily skin in check during the work day. I also would want a primer to minimize pores and soften flaws and give matte but healthful finish. If you seek something truly mattifying, this is it. It does and excellent job mattifying and holds back shine all day. Except my makeup wears off, and it gives a chalky white effect to my general coloring. This is with makeup over it. It did minimize pores, but did not have a smoothing effect over the general surface of my skin, nor a blurring effect over other imperfections. It is a cream, not the silicon gel-type of primer. The cream dries, and once makeup applied, you are left with an unflattering, pale effect. I gave 3 stars for price and packaging, and that it did keep it's word that it indeed mattifies.

This is my favorite primer and finishing spray. Protects skin and locks in makeup so it doesn't rub off on clothes. Prevents oil for a time and can be reapplied.

Habe die Creme entdeckt, als ich in England war. Meine Haut fettet teilweise sehr stark, aber mit dieser Creme passiert das nicht mehr. Sehr empfehlenswert für Mischhaut.
