i love that i can color my roots every few weeks at a fraction of the cost of going to a salon. This is the same product my hairdresser used in her salon. I get perfect grey coverage and my hair is silky and smooth because I only do the new growth.

Convenient, quality product for color maintenance. A hair dresser suggested this brand, and I like it so much better than boxed. Much cheaper than salon color. I usually buy from a hair supply shop but couldn't get there. The 5N color is great with a little 5R and Satin CG for light roots in my dark brown hair. Do not leave on too long, or it will take too dark. Start with shorter processing time, and repeat if needed until you know what result will be. I've been using this product for over 7 years, and was happy to find it through Amazon.

I have been using this brand for many years. I love the colors and that the color lasts. This is not harsh on your hair either so you have healthy looking hair.

If you use satin hair color, this is perfect. It’s the same as you would buy in the beauty supply store. And the price is right.

It's a good product

I read all the reviews. I started coloring my own hair (I am naturally dark brown) when I found myself in some financial difficulties. I went to Planet Beauty in California, explained what I needed, and they recommended Satin. Understand I only color my roots. I never would color my whole head as it is not necessary if you are trying to maintain the same color. This product is amazing. My hairdresser, who I would be happy to have color my hair now, always is amazed how good the color looks. I have shoulder length+ hair, and what is great is my hair is multi-tonal. I started using 4N but have since moved to 5N (on her recommendation), which I like better, as I wanted my hair just a tad lighter. I have never had any issues, and although the cost is not an issue, I have no reason to change or stop coloring my own hair (which I do every 3 to 3.5 weeks.
