This really is a nice bowl!
I bought one of these bowls a week ago and liked it so I ordered a second. The size is perfect for a hearty serving of whatever you want to put in it, and it's a really lovely design that makes it pleasant to use. The weight is heavy, and it has held up well in the microwave. And because of the weight and thickness of the bowl, it holds its heat well. I made ramen soup first thing just to try it out and after about 3 minutes of nuke time, the water was boiled and the noodles softening. A few minutes later, I had nice soup. After that, I used it to reheat some leftover chicken shawarma, rice, and veggies. Only a minute in the microwave and my food was nicely reheated and not dried out. It's a pretty bowl, cleans easily, feels sturdy and is fun to eat out of. It seems to be of a good quality, and when I read that it was lead free, that was a deal maker for me. I like that I can cook in it and then eat out of it. Twenty dollars for a bowl is a lot these days, but I think it's going to be worth it.

Perfect Bowls
Bought 2: black and tulip. A nice deep bowl which is what I wanted for soups. Lid fits perfectly. Doesn’t get too hot to carry. Washes easily. Been using both constantly as in winter soups are a staple. I really prefer soup bowls with lids to keep it hot. Buy these. Well packaged, arrived quickly.

For a bowl, its pretty darn good
So, when I got it, I was worried due to reviews. However when I opened it saw it, and inspected it.It turned out fine, no chips or discoloration, it was packaged well so it didn't move at all. The bowl is exactly as was shown, sure the lid isn't tight fitting, but does it really need to be?The bowl is a bit wide too, fitting other things like eggs, ham, and green onion with out feeling too crowded. The design on the ramen bowl is a bonus, its appealing.I don't know how well it would do in the microwave, but I do know is that you can just boil water and pour it over the instant ramen and it still turns out great after 3 minutes with the lid on.

overall a pretty good bowl
Its a good bowl, especially like the cover which keeps soups, noodles, rice, etc... warm. Deep and has a nice rim which keeps everything in. Haven't tested in out in the microwave yet but I think it would hold up. HOWEVER (even though this bowl isn't advertised as oven safe) I'd like to reiterate that people definitely shouldn't be putting this dish in the oven/exposing it to extreme temps!! I have both porcelain and stoneware dishes. Stoneware dishes are more durable in high temp/sudden temp change environments (pouring boiling water into a dish, putting a dish into the oven, etc...) because of the added moisture and electricity found in the clay (can expand easier under heat). After receiving this bowl, handling it, and having a few meals from it, I don't think this is a stoneware bowl (more likely porcelain or some commination of porcelain and another technique). Porcelain can still endure under high heat, but because it doesn't have that same moisture as stoneware, it will likely wear faster if you expose it to sudden temp changes/high temps (oven) and crack. Still a good bowl though and would definitely recommend!!

Way Better than Expected
It's a really well built, beautiful bowl. I bought it to throw my wallet and keys into when I get home, and it fits just right. A word of caution, it appears white and blue in the picture, but it's really more of a cream color, or brownish (?). It's even more attractive because it isn't white.

Lovely bowl
Lovely bowl with lid. I could keep my soup or noodle warm even after cleaning washing pot. Bottom smooth and friendly to wooden table.

Beautiful bowl
Beautiful bowl. Came just as expected. It was a present and not only did they love it but even their four siblings wanted to buy one.

Wash the lid AFTER the bowl.
This my daughter's 3rd bowl. It's a good bowl. DO NOT repeat our mistakes. Put the lid down next to the sink. Don't wash it before washing the bowl. It gets soapy slippery and then lands on the bowl, chipping the bowls rim.
