There it is! ¡Ahi esta!: A search and find book in English and Spanish (English-Spanish books for children)

I love the premise of this book. I am a ESL/bilingual teacher raising a bilingual child so this book is useful for me both personally and professionally. I want so much to love this book 100%. I’m kind of disappointed at the use of British English throughout the book. I wouldn’t use the English for English learners but the Spanish is great for native speakers and SFL. Can I just use the American English word in place of the British? Yes. It’s made and published in TX, USA so it was unexpected. My son enjoys this type of activity. Some objects are difficult for him to find. The photos are great for playing our own game of Veo, Veo.

Really liked this book. It has lots of awesome objects to find and its open ended to ask/find/look for more than just whats there.

What a great way to keep a 3 year old busy for a long time! I read this as an ebook but will definitely buy it.

What a great book! I have been working with children for fifteen years and I have to say it is hard to find good books when you teach Spanish! This book offers you loads of options when teaching Spanish or English as a second language! There it is is also the book that you want to have to learn basic vocabulary in a fun way!I got it for my 2 years old who "speaks" English and Spanish at home and she loves it! When she reads the book with my husband she says the names in English and then says "Mama calls it ..." And says the word in Spanish! This way, also my hubby is improving his Spanish 🙂If you are not sure, get it! You will not regret!It's colorful, fun, it has great pictures and we love it!¡Qué libro tan increíble! He trabajado con niños más de quince años y es difícil encontrar buenos libros para enseñar español. Ahí está tiene ofrece muchas posibilidades para enseñar español o inglés cómo segunda lengua. Es el libro que necesitas para aprender vocabulario de una forma divertida y amena.Yo sé lo regale a mi hija que de dos años que habla inglés y español en casa y no le puede gustar más. Cuando lee el libro con su padre dice las palabras en inglés y continúa diciendo: "mamá dice...", Seguido de la palabra en español. De esta forma mi marido también está mejorando su español!Si no estás seguro, hazte con uno porque no te vas a arrepentir!!!

Bought this book because I am a native Spanish speaker and my other half English, living in the UK my kids they need more reinforcement of Spanish and having a book where they can relate objects in both languages, makes it easier to add to their vocabulary, as well as helps to start to identify letters, different sounds in each language.Even, my other half loves getting to learn new words in Spanish :)This can be easily used for anybody learning either Spanish or English.Absolutely recommended.

My 2 years old love it!! But some of the figures are hard to find as it confused with the colour background... and some photos are a bit blurry. But book it is a great idea for little minds. I still recommend it.

Great book for my little one

This is a brilliant search and find book which my two year old loves. The items are both familiar to the home as well as fun, and each page creates a talking point. The added element of the book also teaching Spanish is brilliant as allows a relaxed space for my toddler to learn about another language. Love it!
