Highly workable clay for quick modeling
This clay is quite soft for an oil-based modeling clay and warms up quickly just from the heat in your hands alone, so it probably isn't suitable for someone looking to create a large, detailed model or do intricate sculpting. It loses detail quickly if pressed or set on a flat surface. However, it's extremely workable right out of the package and has a pleasant smooth texture, very easy to use with no warm-up or additional heating. I bought this to create quick sample models for larger sculptures and have adored it since day one. I have noticed that it has a strangely sweet smell to it, almost like a cupcake-scented candle, but it isn't overpowering. Highly recommend for fast projects and sketch sculptures.

I do not really recommend using this stuff to actually sculpt into
I do not really recommend using this stuff to actually sculpt into, as it is really sticky and really soft. it tends to stick to tools and leaves a lot of excess oil on your hands. however I did not purchase this stuff as a sculpting medium, I purchased this clay to use as a barrier to collect excess silicone rubber and help protect my head cast when I make a jacket mold out of fiberglass. and for that purpose, it is absolutely wonderful! it sticks really well to surfaces and is soft and pliable enough that you do not need to heat it up prior to use. also since it is sulfur free it will not inhibit platinum cure silicone. This 5-pound block does not seem like a lot but there is plenty I had some left over and used it to make registration keys.

Not individually wrapped
Stuff seems good enough, however barely scoring 5 sections into a 5 pound block, then wrapping the whole 5 pounds in plastic doesn't really count as individually wrapped in my book. Had to finish the cuts to make them into 1 pounds blocks then individually wrap them myself.

Perfect!
Sargent Art 5 pound Plastilina is really a nice modeling clay. It's soft enough that it doesn't take too much working before you can do what you need to do with it, but not soft enough that it doesn't hold up, which it did very well. I have carpal tunnel in both wrists and osteoarthritis in one, which I forgot about until I had to work the clay, and I didn't have any issues at all, just to let people know who may have the same problem. It rolls easily with a rolling pin. 5 pounds will last a while too, but if I ever need more, I'll definitely buy this again.

Good water dam for leaks
My house was built in 1968 with poured concrete walls. In one place in the back of the house there is a dip in the top of the wall which with heavy rains accumulates water on the outside of the brick ledge which flowed over the dip onto the basement floor by the gallons.Eventually, the water finds its way down to the drain tiles at the footing. But until it subsides the water comes in.I first thought of making a dam on the inside and then filling the dip with epoxy concrete that is supposed to flow and stick to old concrete but reading the package found out it should only be a fraction of an inch thick. Then I considered self leveling caulk but I still needed the dam to hold that from running into the basement. The inside of the basement walls is uneven so a foam plastic dam would have been difficult to install. So I bought this clay just for the lips of the wall. Then questioned myself about whether it was wise to put something in that if it failed would be difficult to remove.Ultimately, it came down to only use this clay to push into every crack and possible path for water to seem thru. It doesn't harden so it won't crack itself. It's water proof so far and it would be easy to remove if needed.

Very good clay.
Stays soft when left out for days. Easily wetted and softened even when it does dry. Easy to work with, smells clean and pleasant. Great clay for kids if they don't want a permanent setting clay. It even comes off carpet with some work, and washed out of clothes.

Perfect for Sculpting
I make models and sculpts for molds, and this clay is absolutely perfect! I needed a clay that would be easy to work with, and be able to be removed from a ceramic cast. This clay not only did that, but it is just like new after doing so, so Ive been able to reuse it several times. (For those that don't know, ceramic casts take hours to dry and heat up as they cure. So not only was this clay sitting out, but it was being cooked as well.) I highly recommend it if you plan to be doing any modeling.

Tooling clay that smells like cookies?
It worked for a while as a substitute for what we usually use that was out of stock. It's wierd and smells like cookie dough.

Absolutely love it! Careful, doesn't dry in anyway.
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love it! After creating our first art with it, my kids and I were kinda... Depressed! 😅 We loved it so much... It's easy to work with and to give any kind of texture. But it doesn't dry in any way and that's what sadden us. I never thought we would like our creations enough to want to keep them... I bought this one especially because it was a non-hardening one... 😅We tried a little piece in the oven, just to see, and it melted in a second so don't do it. So we decided to just put our sculptures on a wooden coaster and let it sit there in a place we can appreciate our work. After a few hours, Kitchen smelled soooo good! The odour of this clay is like vanilla and it now welcomes us everytime we get near our creation. I will go buy something like a glass jar to put upside-down over our creations to keep them from getting dusty.I'm now looking for a type of clay a bit like this one but one that will harden (not too fast).

not for oven baking
As someone with not much experience with clay, I assumed it would have been able to cure in the oven, although the description did state non-hardening, I assumed that meant non hardening to air. That was my own mistake, but maybe that could be represented better in the description. This product is however is very malleable and easy to mold with. I'm sure I'll find a use for the rest of it.

Parfaite
Tres facile d'emploi. La pate devient plus souple avec la chaleur.

Non-sticky plasticine
The best plasticine I have ever used. Not too soft, not too hard. And absolutely non-sticky. Some users complained about the smell - yes, the smell of vanilla is present, but it's so light, almost indistinguishable. The only flaw - the choice of colors is very small, and the colors themselves are not very pleasant.
