This Ovlux cordless mens clipper is 5 stars. I had a Whal Magic Clip $150 used it five times and it completely died. Whal wanted $40 plus I have to pay for shipping for repair. The Ovlux is $47 and far superior to the Whal. Cuts more evenly and faster. It’s well made all metal with digital readout window. For home or even professional use you can’t go wrong with the Ovlux. 2 year warranty compared to 1 year for the Whal. Believe me you won’t be sorry. Great value for the money.

I am not a barber but have been cutting my son’s hair since he was 2. I’ve used at least three different models, and this one is definitely my favorite. Superb quality, stainless steel, hair clips are sturdy and not flimsy. Arrived fully charged and packaged with manual and two drawstring bags for purchase. When you turn the on button, the rattling is very smooth and not jumpy like other hair clippers I’ve used (Connair and WAHL). CAUTION STATEMENT! The tip of these clippers, where you insert the clip gets very hot. I didn’t realize this as I was cutting my son’s hair. When I removed the hair clip and trimmed the edges and around the ear, it was hot and discovered this until my son told me it hurt him. I then touched the tip and it was very hot. Nothing else gets hot beside the tip. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Will post an update on the battery life. The charger included is a wall charger. April 2023 Update So, I’ve had this product for almost a year now. I’ve used it at least once a month. I still haven’t had to charge it. It still has enough charge for at least three more hair cuts. This product is definitely worth your money. I haven’t had a single problem with it. It works smoothly as the first day I purchased it. No defect is present. I think it’s time to put some oil on it. I’m not sure how, but it does come with a small oil bottle. I just wish it would have come with some side trimmers.

These are a terrific buy. At 57.99 Listed on Amazon, It will pay for itself in just a few uses. I, Myself, like to "Do-It-Yourself" and just shave my head on 2 and i have been doing it since High School. There is not much sense in going to a Barber for a straight 2 shave on your head, there is no layering to do or anything like that so its simple and easy to use. Average trip to the Barber costs about 20 bucks maybe 25-30. These clippers will pay for themselves in 2-3 uses. Comes with all items displayed in the attached photo. Clippers feel heavy, as soon as you pick up the box and before you open it, you know. These are the last clippers i will ever have to buy, finally, i've found them! One star missing for a bag and no case, these clippers deserve a case not a velvety bag. Also no Color Coordination on the Length Attachments and only 6 options. Other than that this is a solid purchase i would recommend to anybody.

Haircuts are not fun with a 3-year-old, but oh so important. My son has tubes in his ears, and hair washes, even with earplugs in, are awful. He's always terrified of getting water in his ears, and with longer hair, it's always a lengthy, difficult process to wet, wash, and rinse his hair without getting him upset. But if baths are hard, haircuts are harder. We've tried to get him to accept a stranger cutting his hair with clippers at a hair salon to no avail--the clippers are invariably too loud, too scary, and cutting with scissors only gets the hair so short for so long, and each time it's an ordeal. Enter his newborn sister and the COVID pandemic, and the hair salon was no longer even an option, leaving this untrained, non-hair-dresser Mom without any viable options. Enter these clippers. Wow. They took a seemingly impossible task and made it a five-minute-long non-issue. These clippers are quiet, fast, and super high quality. My son wasn't scared of them and actually was turning them off and on before first use. When I first ran them through his hair, I realized in a moment of elation that if I could get him to let me do that same motion just another 10-20 times, the haircut would be OVER--they are that effective on the first go! The adjustable attachments snap into place and won't come off during the cut, and the variety of lengths makes it so that I can continue doing this for him at home even as he gets bigger if he wants. Long story short, I'm not a fancy hair stylist or a young person trying to do cool tricks with these clippers, just a desperate mom whose son needed a haircut. If you're like me, foot the $60 and save yourself the time, hassle, and expense of the trip to the salon. You'll make up the money spent in no time AND be glad you did!!
