Extremely Wieldable, Cheap But Good.
I needed to replace the electric trimmer I'd been using for almost 15 years, so we'll see if this one lasts that long. But even if it doesn't, it's a very good trimmer. Especially for it's price point of something like 13 dollars. Over the two months or so since I got this, I've used it a few times: to trim my dad's hair (where caps it comes with came in particularly handy, though one part required using a comb to trim particular wisps of hair), to cleaning up my thick winter beard so that it looked nice, and then today when I used it to shave off most of my beard, my arms, and legs because it's getting warmer. It does sometimes require more than one pass to completely trim down an area, but that's nothing new for me, and usually happens on the more contoured parts of my body. I had no problem putting the product directly against my skin and using it, and I have sensitive skin, so it's worth noting that it has not drawn blood on my while doing this. That said, I was careful while running it over areas with bug bites and other raised skin locations. The important part is that the blades are small enough that it's not easy to actually draw blood on yourself with this thing, you'd probably have to be trying to do so. Which brings me to my last point, and the headline: It's extremely wieldable. It is very light weight, fits neatly in the hand (or, at least my hand), doesn't have a wire to get entangled with, and cuts hair well. So even the times I had to make a second pass over an area, it wasn't difficult to do so. I have not yet tried the extended grip function, because I haven't tried shaving my back or shoulders with it yet, but with how easy this thing has been to use so far, I imagine that it will be quite handy for that task and that the real difficulty will be seeing what I'm doing with my back. But that might just be a matter of setting up a small fan to blow on my back and then shaving by feeling the difference of how insulated my skin is to determine where to run the trimmer. Or a second mirror. Anyway: great product, I'm very happy with it, and I hope it doesn't turn around and break on me any time soon. update 2023: It still works. The motor slows down as the power in the batteries drain, but once I replaced those it went back to working just fine. At one point I dropped it on the floor and it seemed to go flying apart, but that's how I found out you can detach the blade. I cleaned what little hair had gotten stuck in it and it all fit back together and continues to work fine. I have used to to shear thick beard (which requires going at a steady speed rather than trying to shove it through as fast as possible). I have used the extension function to shave my shoulders, and it generally works fine to well. I've used it to trim my dad's hair multiple times at this point, and between the spacer provided and a comb, I haven't had a problem with it. I think the only times I've had issues are when it was deep summer and I was sweating while shearing body hair off and it seemed to have slow down issues. However, turning it off, wiping it off, and giving it a minute to cool off was enough to having it back to working just fine. The main thing I try to avoid doing with it is using it while it's extended, because most of it's weight is in the part extending out, and that can feel flimsy if you're just holding the handle to try and use it at full extension. The price seems to still be right around 13 bucks, so the fact that it can feel a little cheap sometimes is what you get when you pay that little for an electric razor. However, this thing has already outlasted electric toothbrushes that I've paid similar prices for. So it's cheap but good, and I hope it keeps lasting.

Gets hard-to-reach places
I've only used this a few times, but it definitely helps you reach the tough spots like the back of the head. It's excellent for trimming using just the clippers with no attachments, but I had some trouble using the attachments. First, they aren't labeled, so it's tough to compare them to regular clipper attachments (like no. 3 or no. 4 etc.). Second, my using them to cut my hair means I basically can use only one hand if I'm using bathroom sink mirrors since I have to lean backwards for a good view and I need my other hand to support myself against the counter. So when clipping my hair it's hard to get it to make good contact with the trimmer under the attachment. The hair tends to float on top of the attachment and not go through the slots and against the cutting portion of the tool. Using the attachments resulted in my hair being very short where the trimmer touches the head and to cut the hair longer where it met the attachment. That tends to make the hair very short, maybe shorter than you wanted, near the hair line and places nearer the hair line. I'm still learning how this thing works, so I will probably get better results as I figure it out. It's very easy to trim near the hair line, but it's hard to trim hair to the exact length you want away from the hairline. Overall, it works well - certainly better than using just scissors like I had been doing. But I wish the manual gave suggestions and pictures on how to use it with the attachments. The built in light went out, but it doesn't help you see better anyway, so that wasn't a problem.

Handicapped Helper
I have the use of my left arm only, which is very difficult since I have been a righty since birth. I have a professional electric hair trimmer that my wife uses to cut my hair and it’s very difficult for me to use because of its weight and design. I tried the Micro Touch trimmer and it worked great for me due to its design, weight and being battery operated, I don’t choke myself with a power cord. It took a little getting used to, and there is a knack to getting it working perfectly, but it is well worth it. It really gave me a feeling of accomplishment being able to cut my hair myself again and free up my wife from having to do it. It takes a little patience getting used to when you first get started, but with a little determination, you will be able to consider yourself a pro in no time. I have given myself my 3rd haircut and it looks like it was done by a pro—me! It gave me back a little self respect. Thank you for that.

It's Okay
I bought this thinking that it would be easier to use than the standard clippers I have been using for years. It may be that this works better on someone with a full head of hair, which I do not have. It may also work better for someone with longer hair then I have. For me, my clippers are 10 times better. First, this LED light is useless and more of a distraction than help. The light is at the bottom of the guide which does nothing to illuminate the hair you are trying to cut. I would turn the light off, but there is no independent switch for it. The guides do not work well with short or thin hair. I found myself going over the same spot several times trying to get my hair into the guide so it would get cut. Even the guide for trimming your mustache does not pick up the hair well. Overall it is just okay. Clippers work a lot better and are no more difficult to use.

Read my lips: Don't buy this!
Like many reviewers I thought it would be a good way to DIY, save some money, and reduce covid risk by cutting my hair in the comfort of home. NOT! I tried it out and discovered it is junk and does not work as advertised, at all. Firstly, the cheap generic batteries will run out on you. Why? Because the thing does not cut your hair predicably or sometimes not at all; and when it does, it leaves it blotched so you have to keep going over and over and over and over and over it. The clippers/attachments kept getting clogged and won't cut when they do. So you are constantly cleaning them out. Luckily, I keep a supply of rechargeable batteries in house, so I could finish the hack job. To get my hair to look half way decent I had to go down to the 1/4 inch attachment, YIKES!, much shorter than I would normally like. Good thing the warmer weather is upon us. I watched the video instructions with the listing and followed them exactly. No matter. Save your money and nerves. Don't buy this! Good thing I like wearing a baseball cap outside as it hides the botched job. The good news is that in a couple months I can go to a professional and have them make it look good again.

Glad I too ignored the negative reviews; Cut my hair with it yesterday very nicely and easy to use
Cut my Pandemic-long hair with this cutter yesterday and everything went just fine. I am certainly glad I ignored the negative reviews, especially the ones about the batteries. Nobody is stopping the complainers from using rechargeable batteries if they prefer but as a home automation fan I know that there are a lot of drawbacks to rechargeable batteries, so I have always preferred to keep fresh AA and AAA batteries on subscription from Amazon. The unit seems well-made and worked just the way it was described and did a nice job, and the inclusion of so many different size cutter guards really added value to the product's versatility. The product does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Maybe the negative reviewers are barbers afraid of losing business (LOL!) but they don't need to worry as nobody expects this product to compare to a professional barber's haircut but it will do just fine until I get around to a trip to the barbershop.

Decent Groomer
I was attracted by adds touting ease of use, and so decided to give this groomer a try. First, the groomer itself seems robust and comes with comb type attachments that appear less fragile than many. These are well thought out, in that they allow for controlling the depth of cut by simply rotating the handle of the tool to bring more or less of the comb height into play. I don't know yet about battery life, but it cuts well, and it is a little easier to position for a close cut on the back of the neck, for example, than a trimmer with more conventional orientation. Conversely, if you are cutting close under the jaw in front, the side orientation seems awkward by comparison. The extendable handle could be an advantage for some, but I have good flexibility and so didn't personally find this feature to be overly important. Unfortunately, if you are trying to cut close (it is not shaving) on the back of your neck using a two-mirror approach, with its blade-on-the-side orientation the body of the tool blocks you from seeing where the blade is positioned, so some trial and error guesswork results. Results may vary... As far as shaving goes, it doesn't --- call it what you will; it will trim close to the skin, and that might be good enough, but if you want a real shave you will still need a razor of some type. If using the combs for a light trim on longish curly hair, as with any comb-guided trimmer you will probably get a variable length cut as the groomer selectively lops off the higher curls and passes over the rest. If you cut closer, this is less of an issue, or maybe the look will be satisfactory anyway. I found myself cutting closer than I originally intended because I wasn't fond of the variable length look. Because of its comb design, this trimmer does have an advantage in being able to vary the depth of cut by rotating the handle , as noted above, but if you are trying to taper the hair length on the back and/or sides, that action is awkward and it's easier to cut with an upward stroke while rotating the blade away from the head using the trimmer body itself against the head as the guide, which amounts to the same action I would use with a conventional clipper. Overall, it's a decent groomer, probably as good as most and better than a good many, but I don't see all that much of an advantage over conventional types of good quality. If you need a trimmer, it's a good purchase. If you already have a decent one, I would be in no rush to upgrade because of the redesign.

Calidad del producto
Un producto de buena calidad, para mi gusto, se puede mejorar diseño, ya que no alcanza algunos vellos de la nariz.

JUST LIKE COMB
Using barbers hair clipper on self is very difficult as they are designed horizontal blades so someone else has to cut your hair. But this MICRO TOUCH HAIR CLIPPING TOOL is a breeze It’s like using a comb and it does the job, you can switch left to right HAND for the back of your head, NO REGRETS and only 2 AA Batteries reqd.

Producto bueno
El producto funciona bien, pero considero que sería muy bueno tener un manual de uso un poco más explicativo porque si no al principio te das unos cortes de pelo de miedo, pero ya cuando lo dominas vaya si es bueno
