GAME. CHANGER.
Is it a bit dramatic to say this cat litter changed my life? Because honestly, it did. I live in a small space and, though I know more than one litter box is desirable and recommended for two cats, it simply wasn't realistic for my household. So I used a good clumping clay litter with baking soda and scooped my one box at least twice a day into my litter genie, but still couldn't altogether escape the smell or the tracking, plus my cats were clearly not happy with the arrangement-- one of my cats had some litter box anxiety and was frequently covering and re-covering everything in the box, breaking up clumps and kicking litter out in the process.Rather than once again try to figure out how to make two boxes work, I decided to give this crystal litter a try first on the suggestion of a friend (I have one long-haired cat and one short-haired), and the cats took to it immediately. The cat who had been stressed about the box now only goes in to do her business, except when she actually races over to watch with fascination whenever I rake the crystals. I was truly blown away by how well it works--it really does absorb ALL liquid and urine odors. The only odors arise immediately after the cats poop, but all moisture from that is quickly absorbed as well, so the odor is less intense than it used to be.I still use the litter genie for convenience, but I could honestly get rid of it and scoop the poops directly into the toilet. Lingering odors are GONE. There is still a bit of tracking, but much, much less than with the clay litter. There are no gross, saturated clumps sticking to the box and the scoop. There is absolutely no hint of a "litter box smell" in my home anymore. Given that the instructions specify to only use 1" of it at a time, and the fact that it lasts two full weeks before needing to be replaced, it doesn't actually end up being much more expensive than my old brand, and the improved quality of life it has given me more than makes up for the $5 or so extra I'm paying per month (I expect this one container to last me about a month for 2 cats and one litter box).If you haven't tried this type of litter, DO IT. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

Best Crystal Litter
This brand is my favorite litter. It absorbs scent very well and there have been fewer accidents since I started using it. It's important to scoop and stir daily, otherwise it will smell and get very gel-y. The dust is generally low, but not 0. If you do step on a piece of loose litter on the floor, you WILL feel it as it is quite sharp.

Good product
Works good. Not really dust free though.

Best litter ever!
I have two cats that share a box which, with clumping litters, had to be scooped multiple times a day. No matter how often I scooped, the big cat would still pee right next to the box at least once a week. Tried multiple box designs, separate boxes, cat attract litter, etc... Nothing worked. If there was only one clump in the box, but she happened to step on it, she would jump out and do her business there instead. With this silica litter we're back to one box and since it doesn't clump, she keeps it in the box. There's ZERO odor and if I forget to scoop on a given day, it's no big deal. Since the crystals don't stick to the solids, they can be flushed instead of stinking up the trash can, and the liquid situation is even better. So much so that I'm constantly checking closets and corners to find where they're peeing instead, because this litter is barely impacted by use.It still tracks a bit, but not as bad as clay, and less noticeable since it's translucent. Definitely pricier than the other stuff, but a bottle is good for about 2 months with my 2 cats, who used to go through a big bag of litter each week...

Very Dusty!!!
This is one of the worst cat litters I've tried. It has a lot of dust! When I poured it into the cat box, the dust rose up to my face and the air around the cat box was a little cloudy, with the dust. My cat did a lot of sneezing.

Not bad, but very dusty.
Cat's liked it okay, but it's very dusty and they kicked a lot of it out of the box over and over. They didn't do this with any other litter (whether it was clay or crystal). I have one cat who stopped using the box on occasion and this actually did entice her to use the box. I took a chance on a less dusty crystal type of litter after using this and she likes that too.I recommend this if you do have a situation where you are trying to get your cat attracted to the litter. Just know that it's one of the dustiest litters out there.

Best litter! No smelly dust!
The media could not be loaded. Love this litter! I have two cats and this litter does not make my house smell bad. I’ve tried all the other brands and this one is the best.

Kitten danger
So I’m not sure if this was my fault for not making sure it was also for kittens but my kitten got a piece of this stuck in his as***ole and yes it was terrifying and I had to pull it out . So just a warning not sure if this has happened to anyone or not . It will also smell like urine since it won’t clump the urine since it’s silica . Not to mention it hurts to step on I can’t imagine that being comfortable for a cats paw let alone a kitten .
