First time I've tried the ooono 1 easy to set up and works great

A total waste of money! I purchased five units for my cars and they all programmed with the same parameters. Each one does what it wants as and when, no consistency. One unit works as intended for fixed cameras and red light cameras, it does not report mobile cameras on the copilot but does on my phone. Other units fail to report mobile locations, some might throw in the odd one. All but one unit does not alert on my phone. The exceeding speed limit function does not work on any unit, period! I drove between Plymouth and St Austell the route has cameras everywhere, fixed and average speed. Some average speed cameras will trigger a response and the unit will flash with blue led’s, but these do not stop at the end of the zone and intermediate cameras do not register. The blue led’s stay on all the time until the unit goes to sleep. I have been trying to work with OOONO customer support, they advise me to change the batteries on brand new units? They are supposed to have a low battery warning, so OOONO recognise that their battery warning does not work. I have spent hours on these things, I was driving up the A1M and was caught on a speed camera that this piece of junk did not report! The A1M this is a major road not some country back water and the units missed camera’s there! I have zero confidence in these units, I have stuck with them since May and I am going to try Radarbot/Waze. I purchased these through Amazon back in May, I contacted customer service and explained the problems I was having and the lengths I had gone to, to try and work with OOONO to correct the problem without success. I asked for a refund which was issued straight away.

Excellent product,work’s really well,detects a camera well in advance allowing you to slow down before the camera if necessary. A loud audible noise sounds when it detects a camera,you can control the volume. Very easy to link your phone to the device once you have downloaded the app. Once it’s linked you stick the device to your dashboard and that’s it, you don’t even have to remember to turn it on,it will recognise your phone and beep to tell you it’s working,then as you drive the alarm will sound. Amazing value at £30,it could save you points on your license and insurance hikes,£30 it’s a no brainer.

Had to hard reset it twice after installing it. It messed up all my other bluetooth connections. The app doesn't have any average speed cameras on it and only detects some two way cameras, but only from one direction (if it's on the other side of the road you get no warning). If it stores the ones I input then it will be useful as a reminder, but to be honest, until you have input all of your sites, it's not much good. Time will tell. I suspect the OONO is just another gimmick.

Since my last review the team at OOONO have listened, not only listened have taken action. As of 6th March 2026, my Co-driver 1 product has once again become the excellent product it originally was. We can now control Zone alerts which were introduced recently of the last update. The Zone alarm went off after passing every speed sign in an area with a speed limit. It even alerted me when moving from a 30mph restricted area to a 40mph restricted area. This made it extremely difficult to live with and impossible to listen to any music or other broadcast without interruption every few minutes. It only very rarely misses and fixed or mobile cameras, indeed I've only put rarely to cover myself I haven't noticed any it's missed. I can now thoroughly recommend this product.

Vraiment utile et efface. C’est la première version à pile. Je la trouve efficace car la pile dure plus d’un an. La version usb peut paraître sympa. Je l’ai testée mais il faut recharger chaque semaine. Je n’ai pas trouvé ça pratique. Il se connecte immédiatement et l’application est vraiment facile d’utilisation. Ça évite de mettre Waze à chaque fois qu’on utilise sa voiture. On peut déclarer les radars et les accidents. Je suis satisfait de mon achat.

Se trata de un avisador de radar y puntos negros independiente, que se puede usar en cualquier vehículo. Todo el mundo me pregunta por qué Ooono y no Waze o similar. Porque cuando hago un viaje largo, en ocasiones no escucho las alertas del Waze. Y también porque a veces me muevo en moto y este Ooono es muy conveniente. En primer lugar decir que el trabajo lo hace nuestro smartphone. Se conecta por Bluetooth al Ooono y este último muestra las alertas de nuestro Smartphone. O sea, tenedlo en cuenta a nivel de batería del Smartphone. Para viajes largos, al tenerlo enchufado siempre, no me supone un problema. Una vez emparejado, hay que colocar el Ooono donde queramos y empezar a conducir. A partir de aquí, recibiremos las alertas de radar próximo según lo hayamos configurado. En mi caso tengo que el dispositivo emita una luz y un pitido. Se puede también configurar de manera que emita un ruido por el sistema bluetooth (como si entrara una llamada). Yo lo tengo deshabilitado ya que corta la música o lo que esté escuchando y con la luz y pitido ya es suficiente. También podemos configurar si queremos que nos avise en metros o en segundos hasta llegar al radar. Otra advertencia. El dispositivo no sabe dónde vamos, así que si estamos en un semáforo y hay dos calles (derecha e izquierda) y si el radar está en la derecha y nosotros nos dirigimos a la izquierda, se nos notificará igualmente, porque el radar está en el alcance que le hemos configurado. En cualquier caso, prefiero prevenir que pagar multas. Decir que el avisador es legal, se nutre de una base de datos donde los radares son públicos. En mi caso cuando voy en moto, lo pego con un velcro al manillar y veo si hay destellos. Y en coche, lo coloco en el tablier del coche. Podemos notificar al resto de conductores si hay un punto negro o bien si hay un radar pulsando en el propio Ooono. Lo recomiendo? Pues depende. En mi caso sí porque me suelo distraer fácil y no voy mirando la pantalla en todo momento en viajes largos.

Ho recentemente acquistato la versione 2 del OOONO CO-DRIVER NO1 e devo dire che sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto della sua performance e delle sue funzionalità. Questo dispositivo è un compagno affidabile e prezioso durante i viaggi in auto, fornendo avvisi tempestivi su autovelox, limiti di velocità e altri pericoli stradali. L'installazione e l'utilizzo del CO-DRIVER NO1 sono estremamente semplici. Basta posizionare il dispositivo sul cruscotto dell'auto utilizzando il supporto incluso e collegarlo alla presa accendisigari. Una volta acceso, il CO-DRIVER NO1 si connette rapidamente al GPS del veicolo e inizia a fornire avvisi in tempo reale sulla presenza di autovelox e altri pericoli lungo il percorso. Una delle caratteristiche più apprezzate della versione 2 è la sua precisione. Gli avvisi sono tempestivi e accurati, consentendo al conducente di adottare misure preventive in tempo utile. Inoltre, la vasta copertura della mappa garantisce che gli avvisi siano affidabili anche durante viaggi su lunghe distanze o in aree meno familiari. La versatilità del CO-DRIVER NO1 è un altro punto di forza. It’s very useful and works great It rings when there’s a camera or a section in the right time to adjust your speed The only critic I would mention is that it doesn’t always detect the temporary cameras unless users announcers it on it so basically it relies on the users help to know if there’s a new camera. But beside that nothing to mention and I would highly recommend it. I even went to Holland and it worked great there so unlike usually I didn’t receive any speed ticket when returned 😅
