Love this hair color, so easy and quick to use. Not as harsh as other colors. If you are coloring over grey, it turns them a little orange, but I was aware of this before I purchased.

Remember, this is not bleach, will not lighten hair. Deposits colour a bit darker than expected (1 level) but fantastic grey coverage and excellent, gentle product. Will buy again.

I love the rich color of medium blonde. At almost 60, I'm not ready to let my hair go gray yet, but the light blonde shade is getting to be too much of the yellow/white blonde that is so common among mature women. The medium blonde shade is hard to find in stores. When first applied, this shade is monochromatic. When I have a specific event coming up, I apply it at least a week or to in advance. Within two or three washes, highlights begin to come out. My hair is naturally ash blonde: lots more ash than it used to be. As this semi-permanent color fades, there is no sharp line between roots and color, so it remains very natural looking. I only have to apply it every 8-10 weeks. I do roots first, then blend it out gradually after about ten minutes in. It's important to note that it will not lighten hair, but for my natural color, this shade is perfect!

I have dark blond/gray roots with highlights. I've been going to the salon for years, but the price is getting so expensive and now with the gray, I'm having to go more often. So I've been on the hunt to do my own roots and prolong my visits. I finally got the nerve up to try this. It did cover my grays, however it also really darkened my highlights, especially the highlights that were dry and overprocessed. Hopefully it washes out some but I even put coconut oil on the ends and didn't saturate it, so this was just from rinsing my hair out! It is more of a dark blond/light brown, nothing like the picture. I'm not sure I would use this again unless I can figure out how to avoid the highlights. Maybe I try with more saturated coconut oil on them. I would recommend starting lighter as other reviewers have said.
