Retro Toaster
Great looking toaster. The box was damaged when it arrived b ut the contents are well packed and had no physical damage. It works great and love the retro look.

Cool Toaster: Looks good, works good.
I actually had initiated a return for this toaster because first tryout was half a bagel using the ‘bagel’ button, setting on 4, and the bagel was beautifully toasted on one side and only lightly toasted on the other. So, immediately, I initiated a return. Then I thought, okay let me try an english muffin before I return it and sure enough, put english muffin in, used the ‘regular’ setting and cranked it up to ‘4’, and my muffin was perfectly toasted, all sides. SO what I think (and I probably should read the instruction manual lol) is that when using the bagel button, it will toast darker on one side & lighter on the other. In between all this experimentation I popped in a corn muffin top, perfectly toasted. Toasting capabilities aside, the toaster is really cute. Even my husband, who usually is oblivious to this sort of thing, said ‘honey that’s a cute toaster’ which makes me happy since I keep my toaster out on the counter. Very happy with this little appliance.

Disappointed
The toaster does not toast evenly. It burns the toast on the side of the insider toaster coils enough to make the smoke detector go off. The outside coils work alright. I tried lowering the dial number but still the same. The outside coils respond to the change but the inside still burns both sides of toast that are on the inside coils. Very disappointed - not really useable. Also not identified as a Frigidairre item on toaster!!

Toast to the toast!!
This is a wonderful toaster, love the color (red) & it toasted my bagels & bread perfectly! I recommend this to morning people who like toast with their breakfast!
