Great tasting seasoning.
Adkins farm sausage seasoning has turned out to be a very good sausage seasoning for my ground pork breakfast sausage. It has a good but subtle taste. The package directions are one tablespoon per pound of ground meat. However I prefer a little stronger taste, so my next batch I will use 1/3 more seasoning per pound of ground meat. I will buy this seasoning again.

Good flavor and you can control the salt
I got this to season lean 93/7 ground turkey so I could make my own, healthy sausage. It is delicious with just the right amount of heat. I used 1 tblsp for each pound of meat, a little extra Badia onion powder and kosher salt to taste. I kind of ordered this product when I was in a hurry based on ratings so when it arrived, I was even happier to read on the label that this is only seasonings, no salt. I knew it didn't contain MSG which is a showstopper for me but I didn't realize it had no salt. I love that. Most sausage seasonings contain excessive salt. I don't like really salty meats. I really liked being able to add my own salt to taste. This will make the product more economical for me since salt is not added as a filler. I would definitely order again.

Perfect seasoning for deer/hog sausage. Be careful, it’s salty.

tasty stuff
I used this to make breakfast sausage and made it right to the instructions. I may have added a little brown sugar too but it came out great. I used a couple of pork shoulders 11 pounds or so, and also added 3 pounds of those bacon fat end pieces they sell, I should have added another 3 pounds as it is good but almost too dry and pork shoulders always look really fatty. It shows how MUCH fat some of the name brand sausage brands must add as they leave a large amount of grease in the pan.

Good flavor but very strong
I followed the directions and it was very spicy and very salty. I would recommend using half to 3/4 of recommended amount. I had to add an additional 4 pounds of meat to the 10 already mixed I mixed 50/50 venisons and pork shoulder. Otherwise the flavor was good
