I had a mom skunk with lots of young ones living under our house. I applied this product as instructed and within 3 days the skunks had moved on. It worked great

I have a skunk in my backyard, making holes and digging to find roots . It's destroying my lawn, so I decided to try this product. I followed the instructions and dropped the product all around my yard. There was a strong smell of citronella, and for two days it was working. No skunks in my yard, no new holes in my lawn. The third night, everything was back to normal. The skunks were feasting in my yard, more hungry than ever. The duration of the smell got lost after the second night, because of the humidity of the night . I don't recommend it, it was a waste of money. Don't believe the reviews that give 5 stars, cause they never used the product.

It seems to be working. I had a skunk dig up holes in my yard a couple of weeks ago and ever since I started spreading this stuff on my lawn, I haven't had one hole in my lawn. My neighbor has a few holes so the skunk is still around but he seems to be bypassing my lawn. All I can say is fingers crossed!

All i can tell you about the performance of this product is that i used it, and now i no longer see or smell any skunks. I can't promise you there's a cause/effect relationship there. I was concerned that granules sprinkled directly onto the ground would blow or wash away, and those that remained behind in direct contact with the ground would rot quickly. So i made what i call "skunk bombs"... For each one, cut a piece of cheesecloth (available at most grocery stores) and place approximately 1 rounded tablespoon of Skunk Scram in the middle; gather up the edges of the cheesecloth and tie them with a string so that the repellent is safely contained. The Skunk Scram label recommends that you put one of these "bombs" anyplace you think skunks might nest. I did that, and also used the strings to hang some "bombs" in the hedges near where the dog goes out, and from the rack that holds our trash cans. Remember to look up when skunk mating season is in your region, and put out new "bombs" shortly before that. Good luck!

We had a skunk making a seasonal home in our crawl space under our front porch that we had very little success evicting or catching using a professional animal control service. We needed to ensure the skunk was gone before we installed a cover for the crawlspace entrance, so I purchased this and sprinkled a generous amount (about 3 to 4 cups) in the opening of the crawlspace. The scent is quite strong, but not disturbing (much better thank the skunk!). After leaving this overnight with the crawlspace open, I installed a camera and covered the crawlspace the next day and monitored for a few days to see if the skunk had left. A couple weeks of monitoring and no sign of the skunk!

We had a skunk move into our crawl space and every time our forced air heating kicked on, the inside of our house was overwhelmed with the smell of skunk. After I received the delivery, I put handfuls in open bowls and sprinkled it loose in the crawl space. For the first day the skunk didn’t come back. BONUS, the product smelled really good and the citrus removed the skunk smell from my home. Sadly, it only lasts a few days and I had to keep replenishing the bowls. The skunk would come back and I ended up using all the product in just over a week. With the cost, I couldn’t justify purchasing more. We found someone to come and trap the skunk.

We have an old shed with a wooden floor that historically attracts skunks underneath, and a 'rodent' dog who is determined to stop them. The resulting odor in the yard, and continuous skunk sprays on the dog have been unbearable. We put this repellent per instructions in three golf ball size pieces of nylon stocking and placed them in the skunk entry hole, and then placed rocks in the hole. The skunk moved the rocks out of the entry three nights in a row, so we added about the same amount of repellent (freely) into the hole and put the rocks back in place. No skunks now for two weeks! We actually used very little repellent, so we have plenty left for the next battle line. I should also add that this repellent does not stink.

DOES NOT WORK ON (OUR) SKUNK. I tried this product at the recommended application and SKUNK. Still had the skunk in our back yard. Dogs almost got sprayed! Went full-on HEAVY application on the perimeter and….wait for it…SKUNK AGAIN! The skunk walked right through it. So for me, 1 star.
