Q: How tall are the saddle extensions?

I returned it, as the unit, with the extensions, would not clear my 2022 Triumph Street Twin. Extensions were necessary to avoid contact with engine/trans, which are lower than frame. First Amazon item I have returned. From memory and only a guess, the extensions were about 2 inches.

Q: Will this work if my oil plug is under bike on left side

I have a Harley ultra limited and it works fine. Can't use the Saddles, to tall for the bike. Don't need them. Hope this helps

Q: Will work on a 78 Kawasaki KZ 1000

Do not know about your bike but it works great for my HD Ultra at 900 + LBS. However it is to tall to go under my bike with the saddles on it. Does not seem to be a problem without them.
