Kensington Triple Trek Slim Backpack for MacBooks, Chromebooks

This is my third purchase of seemingly same backpack. First I got around 2013 mb, next in 2017. Both were of perfect quality and lasted quite long, considering very often use. I was excited to see that the same backpack is still being produced and just bought a new one from Amazon. But got very disappointed with the quality, it dropped dramatically from 2017. In terms of design it is exactly the same product, but materials feel much cheaper, especially zipper. Fabric is worse too. Will see how long it last, but my guess would be not too long. And it is less pleasant to use too.

Using it everyday for 1,5 year, still good condition. 15 inch old MacBook fits too.

I materiali sono molto buoni e resistenti anche se devo segnalare che alcune cuciture sullo spallaccio (destro) hanno ceduto dopo diversi mesi di utilizzo, non credo sia dovuto ad una cattiva fattura del prodotto ma forse un'eccessiva incuria nell'uso. La zaino infatti è stato "testato" anche per utilizzi diversi da quelli previsti e caricato oltre l'inverosimile. La portabilità è ottima per qualsiasi notebook da 13 pollici (io l'ho impiegato per trasportare un ultrabook o un surface pro 4). Le imbottiture sono buone, considerato lo scarso spessore dello zaino. Comodissima la tasca superiore con l'uscita eventuale per le cuffie e la tasca laterale dalla quale può fuoriuscire una retina dove inserire una bottiglia d'acqua o un oggetto simile. La tasca frontale è molto pratica per inserire piccoli oggetti come biglietti da visita, penne, bloc notes ed eventualmente delle chiavi (che si possono bloccare con il gancetto presente) Di fronte alla tasca porta pc, sempre accessibile dall'apertura principale una seconda tasca imbottita per inserire un tablet o eventualmente documenti vari. Trasportando un pc ed un tablet da 7 pollici all'interno rimane sufficiente spazio nella zona centrale per i vari carica batterie. Forse unica pecca, non è fornito assieme al prodotto un cappuccio per proteggerlo dalla pioggia. Essendo lo zaino dedicato al trasporto di materiale elettronico sarebbe stato molto comodo. Consigliato a chiunque voglia avere un ottimo zaino dall'ingombro veramente minimo! P.S. i due zaini sono stati acquistati ad un prezzo di 29€ e 35€ circa. Sopratutto il primo un vero affare!

This is an excellent sized backpack for Lenovo Thinkpad 4xx series laptops (14" screen). I use a TP440p but I do not use the dedicated inner pocket for a laptop -- I just simply slide it into the main area. Very quick and easy to use. Padding is decent enough unless you are going to throw the pack around. I respect my equipment, so I'm careful, and the padding on this backpack is more than sufficient for my purposes. The pack is very light-weight and carries a water bottle, which was the main feature I was after in a pack this size. The hidden pocket (velcro closure) along the back right (see pics) is a great bonus and I love it for quick access to my car keys and office pass card. The bottom padding on the back can slip over the handle of a carry-on suitcase if you are an airport traveler. The zippers cannot be locked though. The inner lining is soft, and the perfect size for a snug fit for the laptop and a book, and there is even an extra pocket for an iPad within the main compartment. The secondary zippered pocket is generous enough to fit the power supply and other odds and ends, but personally I don't carry it, given that the Thinkpad has a 10 hour battery life and I prefer to carry less weight. The top mini-zippered pocket is great for loose change and earbuds and fits even the largest cellphones on the market. The mesh bottle holder will hold a 500ml water bottle and can be hidden away behind a zipper. I think it would have been better to make this a solid nylon fabric holder, as it would have been more robust. My only negative comment is that the zippers are poor quality plastic (not YKK brand) and seem to be failing rather quickly. Mine have lost some of the teeth (main compartment), or the zipper does not run smoothly for the full length (secondary zippered compartment), and I've only used the pack for 3 months. Time for a warranty exchange. I would buy again if the zippers were improved (larger size teeth) for much more frequent use. Update 7July2015: Called in to Kensington Support and opened a ticket for this bag last week based on my zipper issues. 4 days later, they Fedex'd me a brand new bag. That's what I call customer service and standing behind your product. Very pleased.

I bought this for my Macbook Air M1 and it fits perfectly, backpack is compact yet has enough space in various compartments for storing my external drives, USB hub, chargers, cables and a few extra oddities I always carry with me, I however used up the tablet compartment for storage as well, if you plan on carrying a tablet and a laptop in this backpack your space for extra stuff will be more limited (you will be down to two storage compartments). The laptop compartment is spacious and I think I will be able to fit my Macbook in a sleeve inside, I don't own a sleeve yet to test that, but I am fairly certain it will fit. Build quality seems good and with enough padding in all the right places, I hope it will last. I chose this backpack because it is compact, made by a reputable company and looks inconspicuous enough.

Buscaba una mochila de dimensiones contenidas que protegiera mi Macbook Pro de 13", y tras mucho mirar me topé con esta fantástica mochila. Se trata de una mochila hecha de buenos materiales, con protecciones en la parte trasera de la espalda para hacerla más cómoda a la hora de llevarla a cuestas, se ajusta muy bien a tu espalda y no baila nada una vez ajustada con las correas delanteras. Tiene los compartimentos necesarios: - Uno en la parte de abajo con sub compartimentos interiores, (ideales para llevar cables por ejemplo), yo lo uso para llevar un par de discos duros externos de 2'5". - Otro en la parte de arriba protegido interiormente con material de microfibra, ideal si quieres transportar algo delicado. - En un lateral hay otro, en vuyo interior se encuentra una especie de red que se saca hacia afuera para poder meter por ejemplo una botella (quedan está a la vista claro). - Hay otro bolsillo oculto en la parte de la esplada, a un lateral con un belcro de cierre, ideal para meter por ejemplo documentación. En cuanto al interior, podemos distinguir tres zonas, una para el protatil, otra para por ejemplo una tablet, y la parte central que es donde por ejemplo yo llevo el cable y el cargador de éste. La parte superior de los compartimentos viene con una cinta de belcro para que los aparatos no se salgan y queden bien fijos y no bailen en el interior de la mochila. Estos en su interior tienen un material de microfibra para no dañar los aparatos. Para los que vais en moto me parce ideal, la mochila no se mueve nada en la espalda y además tiene un par de tiras reflectantes que solo se ven si las enfocas con una luz, muy útil para que te vean en al carretera. Es una muchila pequeña, cómoda, discreta y funcional, la puedes llevar con un traje o con unos vaqueros, no va a desentonar en absoluto. No puedo ponerle pegas, la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho.
