I like this light
Received quickly. I like this light, although it's pretty direct instead of broad like the pic displays (especially at the height shown). Im using it for a small apartment aquaponics grow on leafy greens, herbs, an such and they seem to like really it. However, to cover the needed area I had to order another one. I think it's worth noting that the second light was the exact same light with a different brand slapped on it. My grow bin is only about 16"x20", and with the light about 15" above the grow medium the concentration of light is around 6" to 8" in diameter. I think two of these lights will be about perfect for that size grow bed though. On a last note, they DO put off a pretty wide spread of light outside of the concentration area, however i'm not so sure it's significant enough to consider outside of another 4" to 6".

I kinda hoped...
I have not used with plants yet, but I'm expecting great results.I imagined light that would better fit the room...somewhat strange and slightly unsettling hue, but I'm fairly certain that it will help plant-growth.. i.e. have now used these and believe they are helping with plant. growth , without undo undo in electrical use

Kicked growth into hyper drive...
So have a little home garden and was using fluorescent bulbs for a few weeks, before doing research on LED bulbs. I have been super happy with the vegetative growth I have seen in the last week of usage. I can't say double the growth, but definitely kicked my plants into hyper drive, loads of new growth. So much so as I have switched to LED and purchased several more... I definitely recommend this product no matter what plants you are growing!

Work really well
These are quality bulbs and they have worked wonderfully indoors to make the plants grow (my sons are growing ghost peppers). They also cast a really purplish pink like that looks like we're having a party through the windows.

Nice light, very bright and the plants seem to ...
Nice light, very bright and the plants seem to love it. Using it to grow herbs (really), and corn indoors. It doesn't get very hot and has pretty good penetration at about 2 feet. Plants seem to like it.

Used for only about 30 hours to test 3 years ago, went to use today and does not work. Junk
