Good conference light
Nice little light, bright and easy to use. Small and works well on its own or in an existing setup.

Great little lights
First off, this is NOT a fake review. Second, and most importantly, there are 2 variants of this light. One is USB powered and must be plugged in to work. The other has a rechargeable battery that allows it to be operated w/o any wires or connections. Creating the confusion is the fact that 2 of the videos show the alternate model from the model that is featured and some of the responses for the Q&A are for the alternate model as well as some of the reviews. I was somewhat disappointed when I received the wired model since I thought I had ordered the wireless one. Also I noted that the light did not always come on with the initial press of the power button but sometimes took multiple presses. Normally I would have sent the light back to Amazon and asked for a refund. But on the front of the manual which accompanied the light was a request from the manufacturer, Fansrock, that in case of a problem please contact them first for a quick reply. So I did. Within 15 minutes of sending them an email. I received a response from customer service apologizing for the confusion and the defective unit. I was promised a new light of the wireless variety to be put in the mail immediately. Indeed, within a few days I had the light that I wanted. The description of how the light works is well described in the various videos and written reviews. Both models are mainly plastic but strong enough for routine use. The wired model has a sturdy wire with an inline control panel for light on/off, color balance and intensity. The battery model has these controls across the top of the light plus has a small LED indicator for battery strength on the back. Both models put out a good amount of light for their size. In fact, sitting in front of my lap top and iPad just about 2 feet away from the screen, I had to adjust the light intensity way down for both models. Even then both lights improved the quality of my video image. I found the battery light less troublesome to look into. The wired model at full strength gave me a headache and produced more light than was needed even when I sat back farther from the screen. Each had a different mechanism for securing itself to the video screen and each method was effective. I have not had the battery model long enough to comment on the duration and recharge rate of the battery. The battery model comes with an additional back mount that seems to be intended for use with a cellphone (based on the diagram in the small manual) but using it that way clearly blocks a good part of the phone's screen. Instead I find that using the standard clip mount does an adequate job and leaves the phone's screen mostly clear. In all I find both models a good value for the price. And I find the customer service from Fansrock to be exceptionally good. Just be aware that in ordering the unit that is currently displayed online will be the wired, USB powered light and NOT the rechargeable battery model.

Great for remote work
This light has been a great addition to my remote work setup. The brightness is just right, and it makes me look so much better on camera. I love how easy it is to adjust the light levels to fit different rooms and times of day. The clip is strong and stays put on my laptop without slipping. The only thing I’d improve is having more options for adjusting the color of the light. Overall, it’s a solid product that’s made a real difference for my Zoom calls and streaming!

Great Lighting
Simple to install - just plug it in to USB; Not cumbersome, so it doesn't interfere with the laptop screen; Various brightness and light settings; Perfect for Zoom meetings and for late night typing!

Good light, weak controls - Fansrocck Made Right
UPDATE: Fansrocck sent me a new light. All is well. Light is bright and it attaches to any monitor just fine. However, any setting to the light is lost once it's turned off. The default is a warm light, but I prefer bright white. Every time it goes off/on, I lose the setting. Minor PIA but you'd think this wouldn't be hard to address. I reached out to the mnfr but no response received.

Perfect for video conferencing
Compact and perfect for my video conferencing use, either set on my desktop or clipped on top of a wide monitor. No more fussing with ring lights!

Fantastic little light and VERY bright
I love this little thing. Have for a little over a month. Bought it to complement my 10" ring light and if the ring ever gives out, I'll buy another of these. Great size, slightly bigger than a credit card. VERY bright even at the lowest setting -- it sits on my desk about 2 feet from my face and (as another reviewer commented) I cover about 80% of it with a post-it-note and works great as a softer muted light. Two of these positioned 4 to 5 feet from you (or more) would provide excellent lighting. I keep it plugged into to my pc so can't comment on battery. I'm in zoom meetings for 2-4 hours at a time and it doesn't get very hot, but again running at the lowest light level. Definitely recommend, would buy again.

Junk Light
Junk. Had it for 2 weeks and used 3 or 4 times before it stopped working. Don't waste your money.

I use this little ring light for video calls at work and it’s great!! I love the diffused light. You just plug in the USB and go! No downloads needed. You can adjust brightness and colour. The clip works excellent on both my laptop & larger monitor. Super light and easy to move around.

Works fantastic still going strong months later.

Just what I wanted for those teams calls. I can change the light colour as well as the brightness. Perfect on days when it's cloudy/rainy outside and I want to turn this on for meetings without having to turn on my room lights. These aren't round like others so when others see the reflection on my glasses, it's just a regular light.

Received the light and tplugged it in. It lit up for a split second then went out. Could not get it to work again. Junk.

Have used it a few times now and while it can take a bit of time to find the most effective position and brightness for a given day (this changes depending on surrounding light), it works pretty well. The clip that holds the light in place on the screen (at least that's where i put it) works, but is a bit fiddly to use
