Most “just like the real thing” gluten free product I’ve ever had!
I used to LOVE making Pearl couscous and then found out I had a gluten intolerance, so I thought I would never get to have it again. But THIS product is SO good and extremely close to the real thing!Tender, lightly chewy and flavorful!I would definitely advise on adding more water than suggested because the water becomes more starchy like with most gluten free products, and rinsing with cold water after cooking is *absolutely necessary* to get the right texture. Rinse until the water runs clear/the couscous doesn’t feel covered in starch water.I love using this product!

I’m so disappointed
Guys. I’m so sorry for this but please don’t waste your money. I had such high hopes for this product. Let me just begin by saying the ENTIRE package is only 1 cup!! One stinking cup. I cooked it nonetheless because I was curious whether it would fill that cous cous craving I had. It was awful. The whole thing was a sticky, clumpy mess of cooked starches. The ingredients mention tapioca and indeed it had a tacky texture once cooked - similar to small boba or bubble tea balls. Except that they all clung together in one big gooey globby mess. It was not a replacement for cous cous in any form. Just stick to the original stuff if you can tolerate some gluten. Or avoid altogether. This is definitely not the solution and I’m so sorry I wasted $10 but also sorry to the company which tried to make an attempt, which I appreciate but can see why no one else has a GF cous cous on the market - it just doesn’t work.

It gets the job done
While not exactly like regular Israeli couscous- it's a little gummy- it will work as a gluten free substitute for Israeli couscous. The couscous is a little smaller than the regular couscous and does not toast the same way. This is no fault of the seller but of the product. Sometimes there is no exact substitute for something.

Delicious Gluten Free Couscous
This gluten free couscous is delicious. I made a couscous salad with cucumber, grape tomatoes, chick peas and a lemon dressing, and it came out great. The couscous maintains its shape, and isn’t mushy like some gluten free products sometimes do. I’m so happy that I found this to make an alternative delicious side dish that’s gluten free.

This is the only affordable gluten free couscous on Amazon
I did a web search for gluten free couscous because I needed it for a recipe. The web search did not show any local retailers with gluten free couscous in stock.Fortunately I found it on Amazon, however prices varied widely. The vendor from whom I bought it had the best price at the time.Product was good and tasted great in the recipe that I cooked.I would buy again.

Gluten free and good!
I am always on the lookout for gluten free options, and Middle Eastern cuisine is my go-to favorite. Even better that it's Kosher, so no limitations on when it can be enjoyed. Streits does a great job providing a variety of gluten free options for meals and desserts. If you can't find them in your local grocery, Amazon provides easy access.

Pretty good
Tastes really good, the texture is okay and much better after refrigeration. Unlike most pasta (especially gf), these are way better after they’re chilled for a while. That’s fine with me though, I really only use couscous in cold/ room temp dishes anyway.

Tastes just like non-gluten free couscous
It's difficult to find gluten free items especially couscous and to it actually taste like the non-gluten free, even better!
