I received this set was very disappointed that the Bent Chain Nose Pliers, was defective one side was definitely bent to say the least it was extremely bent see photos. The diagonal pliers and end cutting pliers are dull. Unfortunately I opened up the package late so I missed the return deadline. Giving 1 star because I like the long needle nose pliers.

So far no complaints. They come coated with oil I'm assuming for anti-rust. I cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol and baby wipes. Took a few wipe downs to get that oil off but working just fine. Now I just need to start watching Jewelry making tutorials on YouTube and elsewhere so I can learn the most efficient use of all the included tools.

I bought a small pair of jewelry pliers from Dollar General and was looking to upgrade. I mostly wanted longer needle nose pliers but decided to get this set. They just aren't great. I would have been better off buying one pair of needle nose pliers. I still primarily use the smaller pair I originally bought and these sit unused.

I bought this for my daughters jewelry set. She absolutely loves this set. Tools are easy to use, nice for beginners. I can’t say enough about the set. Highly impressed. For the price well worth it. I can use my tools again and she is not asking to borrow

All in all it’s a cute little kit but the clipper players were extremely dull. I had to go out and buy new clippers because of the aforementioned, but the the other pliers work great!

Too oily... also can't be use for finesse and sheer precision. I've manage to crack dainty stones and Swarovski crystals trying to close jump rings with these cheap pliers.

Great pliers for wire projects. Good value for the money. Took away 1 star because most of the pliers had grease all over them upon arrival, but that wasn’t a huge deal to me.

The Baymyer jewelry plier kit is a good kit to have while learning to bend and form jewelries. The quality of these pliers passes the dollar store quality where the hinge isn't very smooth. Even the cutter itself isn't as sharp as industrial side cutters. All pliers have a smooth mouth to prevent nicks and bite marks when clamping on to them. Though, the mouth isn't very flat and has slight opening in them when fully shut. The black rubber handles slides a bit when in use for a few minutes. Overall, a good set to have when starting out or even just to have at home. Ergonomically, this is not suitable for me however may be suitable for you. Product comes in a carrying case for ease of transport.

Simply put, these are a pretty cheap set of pliers in terms of overall quality. They are not overly precise in their machining or fit but they get the job done and I can not say that their quality has gotten in the way of what it is that I had to do with them. They worked pretty well and for how often I would use tool like this, I do not want to sink a lot of money into better ines.These work just right for me and in many cases, they likely would for you as well.Recommended

This is a great collection of high quality pliers that are perfectly formed out of great quality iron nickel alloy and have soft rubber covered non-slip grips. The pliers come inside of a very nice case that protects the pliers and keeps them organized. The set is comprehensive and covers the most used pliers for jewelry repair, wire wrapping and crafts. It’s a perfect set to have around the home and workplace. The quality of this set is excellent, it is exactly as described.

I love making jewelry as a hobby. The Baymyer Jewelry pliers set have shapes and functions to cover all my jewelry making needs.I can cut and shape wires and wire beads and my lampwork sculptures.A few of the pliers I use in my hot glass bead making for texture and to manipulate the glass.It is a very good price for this huge set of pliers. I will be using them all in some capacity.

For the price ($40), I expected better quality. The pincers of a couple of the sets don't line up evenly so if you are needing these plyers for precise work, pass over this set. I've bought individual plyers at Michael's for $7.99 that were better.The rubberized handles are what you would expect for this style of tool, and the carrying case is a nice addition for storage.
