Excellent for entry level & mobile painting
The compressor itself is about the size of a cheeseburger and is so quiet my partner can still watch TV in the next room without being irritated too much so if too much noise is an issue then this is a great option. I painted the skull entirely with what you get in the kit (excluding paint) and can honestly say it performed pretty well. The air pressure is constant even when unplugged and on battery power however the pressure is ever so slightly lower on battery but not so much that it causes an issue. For the most part I stayed on the low setting and only really felt the need to move up to medium and high when painting the background 🤷♂️ Good quality product, good for the price, very impressed 👍

Good for a start but has drawbacks
I think this is a good kit for someone just starting out with airbrushing. It's a relatively simple bit of kit to get used to and to practice airbrushing but there are some drawbacks to this. The pressure seems very low even on the highest setting, you can feel the airflow on your hand but I find that the flow of paint will seem very low/slow even with the machine turned right up and needle adjusted. It's fine for spraying models but it takes a long time to do because of the low paint flow. I thought this may be because the paint/primer was too thick (it was already very thin Vallejo primer) but I thinned this even further and didn't see any noticeable change. Overall though, it's a cheap kit and is obviously for beginners and doesn't include high quality parts, so you have to expect lower performance but it still seems to fall short somehow.

Impressive little companion
I wish the battery did last a little longer BUT when it runs out is a good sign that you really should take a break from working or overheating the compressor. This little guy is way better behaved than my full size compressor. Quite quiet too! Good control of air flow, very responsive. Could probably use a different airbrush attachment but I have used what is supplied. Using Airbrush acrylics. The airbrush itself comes with a weird plastic cover on its tip which doesn't come off very easily...that neeeeeds to come off in order to paint properly. Do not understand why it was on there in the first place as seems to have no purpose. (It is not on the instructions not box photos) Instructions are clear! Don't forget to clean the little guy after use; you still want them to be your friend next time you paint! I highly highly recommend this product. I haven't been this happy with equipment for a long time.

Airbrush compressor kit
Great little Airbrush, quiet, works well, adjustable, and can run on mains or built in rechargeable battery. I've used it to touch up my alloy wheels, it worked well for that, and other things since.

Numerous faults - returned
The most obvious fault is that you CANNOT use it whilst charging, unless you want it to run at 100%, unlike what we're told in the instructions. That alone makes it not fit for purpose. Pressing the ON / OFF button should cycle the pressure LOW - MED - HIGH - but when on charge it does nothing. Indeed, when on charge no light is even shown. Then, the paint applicator lever does not work as described. We're told that to expel air we should pull back but not push down. This has no effect. It will not emit air only. Actually, when I first tested it, you could not pull back on the lever at all, and pressing down on it caused it to stick in that position. I found the only way to get it to function was to loosen the airbrush pipe attachment! I suspect bad design meant that an excess pressure build-up prevented proper function. As if that's not enough, it appears to emit a very similar quantity of paint (I tested it with water) whatever the pressure level chosen. The compressor noise volume alters but not much else. The amount of paint sprayed on the lowest setting seems to me excessive. As for the instructions, they comprise the usual butchery of the English language. Not as bad as many I've seen but ultimately the appalling quality of the item makes that point moot. Returned for a refund.

You get what you pay for
This isn't exactly a bad product, but it's not good either. Let's start with the highlights. The airbrush itself is excellent for a starter. It won't win any awards, but does offer a dual action trigger. This allows you to get used to controlling the amount of paint flow and air pressure at the same time. It also is extremely small, allowing it to be easily stored if you lack space, or if you need a basic airbrush setup that you will be travelling with regularly. And the fact that it can work on its own internal battery makes the travel aspect even better. Now the bad. It is simply not powerful enough. The amount of air pressure created is only enough to pull the thinnest of paints from the cup. I have very thin airbrush only paints, and even those need thinning further or they will clog up the end of the airbrush as the pressure cannot pull the pigment through. You can, as I do, thin everything down to the consistency of water, but that then causes the paint to have very low coverage and requires A LOT of coats, especially with light colours. If you are looking for an option that is for a bit of fun and want to dip your toe into the waters of airbrush painting, then this will do the job, albeit barely. But you will be making your life harder than needed and it may give a bad first impression. If however, you have any inclination to actually put more time and effort into this as a hobby, then spend the extra £30 and get a kit with a real compressor. Better yet, spend the extra £50 for a kit with an air tank and you'll have everything you need for the first few years until you decide it's time to get a better quality airbrush.
