Works like a charm
Recent storms in California have left the swimming pool in my new house with tons of leaves on the bottom. I was trying to net them out but it was an effort that took hours. The Leafbagger is great. You hook your hose to it, and the water jets it generates from the hose pressure direct material on the bottom of the pool into the fine mesh bag. It's not correctly named--it gets a lot more than leaves. It sucked up worms, pine needles, and hard berries that fall off my tree. I had no problem with the bag coming off as others have, although I see how it could happen. One suggestion I heard was to use an accordion-style folding hose which floats. I used my rubber hose and it was hard to navigate around it on the bottom of the pool. The other great thing about the LeafBagger is it has a huge opening, so even the biggest leaves, which would never make it into your pool vacuum, it handles with ease. Speaking of vacuums, I never found a good way to get the vacuum into my spa or water feature. But with the LeafBagger, I just threw it into the spa and cleaned out the mess. It does add a lot of water to the pool, which is the only downside I can think of.

Easy to use
With a pool and a giant sycamore tree, this thing is a miracle. The wind events always happen after the pool man departs. A short learning curve and actually kind of fun to use. I can even manage it in the deep end of 10 feet. Works well.

Gets the job done.
Works really well. Sucks everything up in no time. The bag likes to come off quite a bit, but there's a trick to making sure it's on tight. Make sure the bag's edge isn't scrunched up next to the clamp, and make sure the clamp is all the way locked. Don't pull the leafbagger out of the pool too quickly, or while on its side, and the bag will stay on. That's the reason for my 4 stars. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product. Also, use an expandable hose for easier maneuvering. Don't even bother with the battery operated ones. Water gets inside the chamber and rusts it out.

High Quality and Effective
Very pleased with the quality and performance of this pool vacuum. Sucks up leaves and debris as described with amazing results. Made my pool look sparkling clean! I particularly like the large tight meshed bag which does not allow pass through of small particles. I also like the weighted front which helps hold the unit to the bottom of the pool. This item was a great buy for me.

Quality and ease of use
This product is awesome, easy to put together (no batteries required) and use. It is less expensive than purchasing any other pool sweep. Since it does not stay in the water, no concerns with expensive parts eroding. It hangs up on drain covers but that is no big deal, and the mesh netting will come loose if you do not tie it correctly. I have used mine for 7 months and it still works great.

Worked great.....after I modified the plastic ring to attach it to the base properly.....
It worked great.....after I accommodated this manufacturer's poor design on the white ring that is supposed to hold the net in place.1. The white plastic ring arrived separated from the base so there was no way to secure the net onto the base.2. It was evident this was due to poor design as they used cheap adhesive to glue the ring to the top of the body which didn't hold.3. I drilled 2 holes on opposite sides through the ring and body. I then inserted 2 half inch stainless machine screws and secured them with locking nuts.4. Worked great after that 10 minute modification. If you are not handy you may want to find a better product in case you end up with the same defect. Since other reviews are positive it seems like the glue holds the ring on in some cases. Mine didn't. The fix was so quick and cheap for me.... so returning/contacting the mfg. wasn't worth the time and headache.

It works!!
I'm in Phoenix, AZ and we had a few monsoon storms that came through in the evenings consistently. I tell myself, I'm going to clean pool today. I didn't do it because another storm would be on its way. Long story short, a full month goes by and I haven't cleaned the pool due to storms and also being busy with other things. There were a BUNCH of leaves at the bottom of the pool. I normally use a pool vacuum, but the job was just to big. I was looking at this product and also the battery operated product. I was thinking about the battery operated one because the water pressure in my back yard was low and I figured this product wouldn't work. I had my maintenance guy come and replace my water pipe. Once replaced, my water pressure went from 15 psi to 80 psi. I went with Blue Devil and it did NOT disappoint!Keys to successful use of the product.1) WATER PRESSURE - Must have good pressure in order for this product to work effectively. The average household water pressure is 30-80 psi. After getting my water pipe replaced ($20) by my maintenance guy, my water pressure is at 80 psi.2) PATIENCE - Move the product around slowly and let the product do its job.3) TIGHT TIE - If you can manage to tie the net around the neck area of the blue devil without any slack, you will not have any issues. Someone made a suggestion about using a bungee cord. That is a great idea, I was going to implement that idea, but I didn't need to. So.......I want to address issues/complaints regarding net not staying on blue devil.I did experience this issue on my first go around. I didn't tie it tight enough. The second time, I put a rubber band around the neck to help hold it in place. It worked until I started swooshing the blue devil too fast. I figured a second rubber band should work. My wife came out back when she heard me yell profanities. :)She tied the net to Blue Devil really tight and it worked!! I didn't swoosh it around fast, just made subtle movements and within 10 min ALL the leaves were out the pool!

Zero stars *
Garbage I got it from the mail man. Opened it seen what I just paid for was missing a wheel with the other one broken off. Add it this was before the mail man has even left the drive way. Kick in the mouth when you pick the more expensive one out of a few others. Hoping you pay quality.... Nope !! Learn from my mistake
