I have had my nose pierced for 10 years. I've bought many different sets from numerous places, Amazon included. The first three days I had one of these in, my nostril swelled up and was very painful. The paint comes off almost immediately, so when you wash your face, take the ring out first. I have gotten some cheaper sets before and never had the problem so I'm almost certain that the chipping paint caused severe irritation. I wore one of these less than a week and was miserable. After keep my nose piercing free for a week, I put another ring in that was also bought from Amazon and never had any problems. Don't waste your money.

I love these. They're super comfortable and light to wear. I wear the medium in my nose and all three sizes in my ears. Totally worth it.
