I have a 38'x20' grapefruit tree that yields about 3000lbs of fruit per year. After searching everywhere I found this device on Amazon and was skeptical because of the price, however this product is absolutely amazing. I needed it to zest the citrus skin and it does extremely fast and perfectly. I ordered extra blades because I thought they would fall apart quickly, they do not! I used one blade and after 200 lbs it had to be replaced which is very good considering it is a non stop process. It may not seem like much when you handle it but this device it tough and the motor can handle your needs. Don't hesitate buying this product, I did not get one for free nor did I get any compensation for this post/review

Easier to just peel by hand....I was so looking forward to this working, but it did not, it would peel stop, peel a Little more then Stop, every time you have to restart it, it peels maybe a little, and stops AGAIN It goes off kilter, I had to start, restart, and start some more, then it still misses most of the peel (looked like a 4 year old peeled the potato), all the starting, and restarting was more aggravating and time consuming, (still if it had gotten the majority of the peel) maybe Naw, I still wouldn't have like it, it's a bust, it just doesn't work.....No one is more disappointed than I am..... : ( I had visions of potato salad made so much easier) It was not meant to be.............: (

We bought this kind of on a whim because we were having to prepare 40 Lbs of mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. The price was so good it was one of those "what the heck, let's try it" purchases. But it really did work great. Very much a "plug and play" potato peeler - just turn it on, do something else for 30 seconds (or stand there, mesmerized like I was), and voilá - your potato is magically peeled.It held up to all 40 pounds very well, with no sign of wear or dulling of the blade.This will revolutionize our Sunday dinners....

I does an Ok job. I like that it doesn't take too much skin off. I have used it for peaches. The fuzz gets stuck that can be dealt with by getting your peach wet before peeling. Saved me alot of hand work and time. Does what it promises. But I honestly feel it is overpriced for a simple plastic gadget.The first one I got came broken and had to return within 24 hours to the seller that was a little scary. I did get my refund and was happy with that ordered a new one from LOHOME and have had no issues

it's ok for potatoes. not great for oranges, they tend to slip off the peeler, eventho I make sure I pressed it good..it leaves too thick of a layer on the orange, so after I use the peeler I cut the excess off with a knife. I use it for juicing, so, I like to peel the oranges very "low".

I LOVE this product! I've invited friends, neighbors and the little girlsthat were my older daughters' campers to watch it at work - everyone, mostimportantly me, enjoys watching the skin peel off in long spaghetti strings!I have a small home-based soup business, and I use it to peel potatoes, so Ican't speak about other vegetables. But it does make my life easier, takesbut a moment to set up, and cuts down my labor time.It's important to be sure that the blade does not get clogged, which I do bycleaning it with a toothpick to eject any stuck peels, which only happenswhen I do a huge amount at one time.

Machine did not have 2 extra blades. Operates well but machine appears to be made of material which is not heavy duty.
