Gas cap worked perfectly
This gas cap replaced the one that came with our car and worked great.

It fixed the check engine light on 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan
Although on careful inspection I couldn't see a defect on the old one, I went ahead and switched them out. Easy enough. It took several days of significant driving before the light went off but it's been over a month and it seems to be working fine.

replacement part
Easy to install... two stars. Not because it doesn't fit but because the end piece that connects the cap to the hinge of the cars gas cover door cannot be attached without some sort of miracle strength or trick. It's a simple piece of rubber/plastic that needs to go through a hole in the door hinge to keep the cap from being lost or left behind but I simply cannot push it through manually.

Replacement for worn cap
Had a check engine light for a small EVAP. Cap did the trick. Way cheaper than the dealer

Is good gasoline cap
It is a good cap. However, I had to return mine because it didn't quite fit my car. But my friend bought one for his car and it fit perfect. I just have a special edition dodge journey that's why.

Was good but?
In the beginning it worked awesome i was so happy but after two months it started going bad i think it's the gasket inside because the dash check engine comes on i tighten it up a few times it the check engine light goes of but after a few days it comes on again i'm going to buy one at the auto parts store it's a few dollars more but at least i can go exchange it when the check engine comes on again
