This is a great tool for your fire pit. Manages reasonably large pieces of wood (e.g. as purchased by the bag at petrol stations) and have performed well over about 6 occasions so far.

Like these fireplace tongs. Just got them. I like they are short enough to hang on my fireplace screen and they can be used with just one hand. Small enough that I don’t have to remove my screen to move a log. Seems really solid. Not too heavy. A well-thought-out product. I love this stuff. Will update if any problems but so far very happy with them.

We bought this for our outdoor firepit and it arrived within 2 days - no scratches or damage. Tongs are heavy duty with a dark finish. We have used them multiple times and they work well for maneuvering logs in the firepit. They are long enough to keep your hands far enough from the fire and heat. Very easy to use. They are sturdy and have not bent or broken even though we've lifted fairly large wood chunks with them. We leave them outside all the time and they are not rusting or discoloring. Price was great too as it was more economical than many other options.
