Quality, can take battery heart beat device out to turn on, no wires.
Great quality. Independent heart beat encasement with batteries, quality with no wires. Easy on off switch. My puppy loves it and sleeps through the night. Turns off automatically in the morning.

Our puppy loves this dog
I bought this to put in carrier when we picked up our 9 wk old puppy. We had a 3 hr drive and I was worried he’d be stressed and hoped this would help. He actually was fine and not stressed at all, but this stuffed puppy has become one of his favorite toys. He’s now 12 weeks old and It’s the one toy that follows him everywhere in the house. We have different toys on all 3 levels of the house that stay on each level, but this one goes where he goes. He plays tug with it, sleeps with it, even, ugh, humps it sometimes. He especially likes chewing on the tail for some reason. The poor stuffed puppy looks pretty rough after just 3 wks, but I will buy another when needed because our puppy loves it that much. It’s not ripping or anything, I think it just needs a good wash. I also put it in his crate at night when he sleeps, and I do turn the heartbeat on. I have no clue if it helps or not, but I do it. The crate is next to my side of bed and the heartbeat is fairly low, it’s only bugged me once. After waking up at 4 am to take him out the heartbeat was driving me crazy while I was trying to fall back asleep, but that has only happened once in 3 wks, and the rest of the time hasn't bothered me at all. We’ve had the same set of batteries in the whole 3 weeks. Every night I turn it on and let it run for the 9 hrs until it turns off itself. Every night I expect to find the batteries dead and am surprised when they’re not. It’s really is just the cutest sight to see our Aussie puppy snuggling with this stuffed puppy for naps in his crate and at night, or dragging it around by the ears or chewing on the tail for play time.

Perfecttt
My dog loves her heart beat dog. It has helped her calm down and relax while I am gone. 10/10 get your puppy a friend. It takes AA batteries and lasts a long time. It's not loud, and she plays with it all the time. All you have to do is press on the heart to get the heartbeat going.

My dogs love it, for different reasons
My old dog loves it because she loves carrying around stuffies like her baby and loves on it. Especially loves the heart beat. My other dog.. well.. her “killer” instincts kick in as soon as the heart beat is turned on. She throws it around and destroys the poor toy any time I look away from her. It has not lasted long! This is the damage after 1 week. I am impressed that the heartbeat still works but the toy itself is not durable.

Life saver for a new pup!
Our puppy loves her snuggle puppy. She is 6.5 months old now, but we got her at 8 weeks. At first we used the heart beat and I think it helped her with separating from her mom and litter mates. After awhile, we didn't need the heart beat anymore, but she knows that her puppy is for bedtime in her crate and not for play. Every morning she brings the puppy out of her crate and gives it to us. She is a big chewer, but has not tried to damage her snuggle puppy.

Puppy loves this, But stopped working. :(
Update: Unfortunately the heart has stopped working in this after about 6 weeks which is a huge disappointment. Company was supposed to send a new heart for it but after several weeks it still hasn’t been sent to me. This is just adorable. Very soft and cuddly and it sounds like a heartbeat! You can even lightly feel it when it beats. For the first 2 nights our new puppy cried. This arrived in time for night 3. She did not cry that night or any night since then! We also moved her crate closer to us by our bed, so maybe the combination of the 2 things did the trick. She snuggles right up with it in her crate at bedtime.

Puppies LOVE these!!!
I have two 8.5 week old foster puppies who I don’t think had ever been kennelled before. Kenneling was extremely difficult and just as something to TRY, I ordered two of these heartbeat stuffed animals. I didn’t have high hopes, but they were immediately effective. The screeching in the kennels stopped immediately and both puppies sleep quietly in their kennels. These heartbeat stuffies have been life savers!
