This a stout gaff and definitely worth the price. After seeing and holding (haven’t used yet) this gaff, I dont understand the high price points for lots of the gaffs I see out there. Keep in mind that I’m a rec fisherman and not a guide, pro, etc.

straight out of the box didnt check the sharpness before I used and of course almost lost a 30 lb. bull dolphin hit the dolphin behind the side fin and it left a 8in scrape down the side after the 3rd hit it barely poked the skin near the tail and flipped it in the boat BARELY

High quality gaff that exceeds expectations. Don't let the price of this gaff fool you - it's made of quality materials and is built to stand up to getting whatever you're looking to pull over the rail in easily and quickly. Highly recommend their product.

Worked well for gaffing smaller pike caught for eating. Not having to use the net is a plus both in time and eliminating destruction of lures when fish inevitably rolls in net. Glad I bought it.

It is perfect for river or salt water. Very sturdy.
