Pay attention to the cable!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
This interface is very good, in parts! I use it to sing in the Smule app with the Iphone, but the cable (device link - lighting) is extremely fragile and built in a doubtful way. Even being very careful, I already had 2 broken cables at the end of the cable as shown in the photos. Just a small movement is enough to brake it. And , to complete, is very hard to find this cable and it costs between 45 and 66 pounds each. I was forced to pay more than 100 pounds on 2 extra cables, because the interface is expensive and the store did not authorize the return of the product after 40 days. I feel like there is bad faith in that.

Surprisingly poor quality but otherwise good
Focusrite are a good quality manufacturer. I really need this to use with my iPad and iPhone during the 2020 lockdown but I couldn't get it to work. It eventually turned out to be a substandard lightning connector which eventually fell apart. I could not get a replacement cable or even a replacement product so very dissapinted. I now use a 2i2 which does not conenct to lightning ports without a powered USB hub and loads of cables / attachements. Shame these are not easier to get.

Nice bit of kit
Works great - being the iTrack Solo Lightning it interfaces with my iPhone and iPad but with the USB, it can still interface with a PC (although I've not tried it, it does say it can in the manual). The one thing I would say, is that it doesn't allow for charging of the iPhone or iPad (but then none of the other audio interfaces I've seen do either). I did check with Focusrite whether a lightning splitter would work to allow separate audio/data and power in order to power/charge the iPad and they said they know of no reason why not although they don't officially support them (they've not tested such things with it). However the one I bought would not work - I had the data connection between the iTrack Solo and the iPad but the iPad was not charging (using the iPad charger of course to provide power to the lightning splitter). This may have been an issue with the lightning splitter of course - Apple don't make these - they are made by 3rd parties and whatever order I tried connecting things it would not work - reviews show they are not always the most reliable so may well be that. However saying all this, as long as you switch the iPhone or iPad to airplane mode you can run whatever app you want for quite a while - probably a couple of hours or so while plugged into the iTrack Solo.

Good sound but cable prone to breaking
The product is very easy to use with iPad and Garageband and the sound is of good quality. However, the lightning cable seems very fragile. I have had two of these and in both instances the cable has stopped working within about 6 months (despite me being VERY careful with it the second time round). The cable is also very expensive to replace on its own.

itrack solo Lightning
Extremely disappointing. All I could hear in the headphones with a thudding sound that never stopped, mine was obviously faulty but Amazon took care of it and I’ve gone with a different brand.
