Is this transformer compatible with dimmer?

This transformer is not dimmable and not compatible with any dimmable devices, including dimmable LED strips.

Do I need to purchase the wiring separately to connect the transformer?

Yes. This is a Class 2 transformer and does not require grounding. It has screw terminals on both sides but does not include wire. You will need to purchase the wiring separately. We recommend using wire with a gauge of 0.5–1.5 mm² (about 20–16 AWG).

Why this transformers are not compatible with my LED strip?

This transformer is specially designed for 24V DC low voltage LED lights. Before purchasing, please confirm that your LED light strip is 24V DC and the total power is within the 0-24W range(no more than 80% of maximum load).

Used to power Reolink doorbell

Used to provide power for Reolink wired doorbell. A great alternative to using a AC doorbell transformer provided your doorbell will support DC.

Bad design, difficult to install

Who ever designed this product can’t be an electrician because it’s hard to install. It doesn’t fit normal lighting mains cable. It’s hard to push the cables into the terminal block because the case is in the the way. Bad design. Difficult to install.

Ik had een bestaande ledverlichting waarvan de interne voeding was stuk gegaan en niet meer te repareren. De ruimte was beperkt, maar deze ledvoeding had de juiste afmeting en kon zo dus weer de verlichting netjes repareren.
