Bodum1870-01 Tea Press, 51 oz, Black

Metal ring is a bit loose (the ring looks slightly lopsided now), and always feels like it's going to come off. But so far it hasn't, and we've enjoyed many cups of tea. It's a great size, and looks pretty with tea in it (the looseness of the ring is not super obvious). Loses a star due to what seems like poor workmanship. Would have expected more at the price.

Very pleased with this capacious lovely tea pot. Easy to use and holds way more tea than my other pot. I make at least two pots a day and chill them. I highly recommend this appliance.

I like the size but the stranets holes are too big. The herbal tea I use is fine do there's lots of sediment in the tea.

Works Great

The plastic strainer becomes brittle with use and breaks.Also the holes are too large for many teas.I don't know why they didn't employ a stainless steel fine mesh strainer like their ASAM model

I wanted to buy a contemporary looking teapot which was also functional and made enough tea for a few people. This teapot fits the bill !

love it makes great tea from leaves the insert however stains brown from tea

I have quite a few tea leaves seap through into water so it doesn'tFilter completely, then u have tea leaves in your cup which is not niceWhen you are drinking it. Other than that it keeps hot, and doesn't leak orDrip which is a huge plus!!
